I'm beginning to get female character fatigue simply because of how obvious and cynical it has become. What's the point of even having female representation in cartoons anymore if they exist purely to satiate waifufags?

Is everyone here too young to remember Tumblr? I've been around since this kind of shit blew up. Stop whining about "coomers", You're throwing pitchforks at the branches and not the tree root. The reason why sexually starved and socially awkward people flock to these things It's largely because they have an unhealthy regular life. The number of lonely people, and people that lack mental health resources, or even the desire to seek them out, is increasing rapidly. You're only going to see more of this because the core issue is getting worse. If you really hate it that much, the best thing you can do is try to gatekeep creators when they just get started, and probably keep them well fed with Patreon money so they don't get snatched up by normie companies. That might work.
