According to the leaks, he isn’t from the same universe as the Fantastic Four, and he had a wife and child who were killed when his universe was destroyed by an incursion, which also left him disfigured. He spent years developing technology, learning magic and studying the Multiverse in order to stop the incursions by merging all universes into a singular timeline under his rule. His masterplan includes killing the people who caused incursions (such as Steve Rogers, allegedly), collecting powerful reality warpers (like Franklin Richards, Wanda and Sentry) and ultimately destroying the TVA and stealing Loki’s power to create Battleworld. Also, he manipulates the Avengers into fighting the X-Men for reasons their universes are on a collision course.
This is retarded and literally just Kangs storyline in his defunct movie.
>>150544452>literally just Kangs storyline in his defunct movieSource?
I don't like multiverse threat level Doom.let Kang do his invasion then have Doom pick up where he left off.
>>150544297Assuming any of this is true. The MCu finally rivals the comics in just how stupid and convoluted the stories are.
God they just love to fuck up Doom huh
Multiverse shit is goddamn lame. It’s a massive crutch for bad writing that only retards like
>>150544452>>150544611The stuff we heard about the Kang Dynasty was all rumors and bullshit. We never got anything substantial and it was probably all up in the air anywaysI could actually totally see them cobbling stuff together from Kang to make what they want Robert Doomy Jr to do.One of the rumors I believe was that the Kang shit would eventually be a soft reboot for the MCU which i don't know how that would work out.>>150544698Actually the dumb thing is that the multiverse shit *could* actually work, but they have to lean into it and still keep fan favorite characters they can trot out every now again (See, Hugh Jackman Wolverine, Patstew Professor X etc).but so far we haven't really had any good "replacements" outside of like Spidey who have all been well loved.
Slimebeast’s Fantastic Four pitch was way better, but no one even watched it.
>>150545092>SlimebeastHe's still active? I thought he stopped posting after the creepypasta community kept trying to make money off his work without giving him a dime.
What no one really wants to talk about is that all of this, ALL of this, is downstream of Marvel not having the film rights to Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men for decades into the MCU. Yes, in the beginning it was a bit of a limitation that fostered creativity, since it made them focus on "core" Marvel characters that had long been neglected, like Captain American and Iron Man. But over time we see that it's proven to be an immense detriment, since there are core mainstays of the broader Marvel Universe that Marvel/Disney are now having to shoehorn into the MCU way later than they should have shown up. The F4 and Doom should have been part of the MCU from the start; in an ideal universe, we'd have gotten an F4 movie not long after Iron Man 1 was a huge hit. This multiversal shit is, in part, a way to cope with the fact that this was not able to happen. They're having to backfill a pre-established Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom into the MCU using multiverse shit, because the organic development of both of them in the broader MCU wasn't able to happen when it should have happened.
>>150545129he is but all he does is bitch and moan about drama on youtube for a viewership of about 200 now
>>150544297Kinda sounds like this backstory but worse.
>>150544297>RDJ Doom isn't from the Fantastic Four universe>the Fantastic Four universe has a Doomyeah this is either bullshit or a non RDJ exists
>>150545146The real problem was the time between Endgame and Doomsday when they produced awful Disney+ shows and some of the worst movies with shit characters no one cares about.
>>150545163So he evolved into a slopbeast. I'll give him a watch out of nostalgia for the good old days.Abandoned By Disney and Room Zero are still great stories years later.
>>150545183Calling it now, RDJ Doom is just Iron Man with a different suit and the real Doom will be revealed at the end of the movie, setting up a direct sequel. If Christopher Lee was alive, he would've been the perfect voice for Doom.
>>150544831I strongly believe they would have been better off using PKD inspired science fiction like Total Recall and Blade Runner than going full retard with shoving the multiverse in every fucking movieIt’s such a terrible and boring device for story telling
>>150545247Disney can't handle space fantasy like Star Wars. Imagining them trying to deliver the complex ideas of Blade Runner or even A Scanner Darkly would be equal parts hilarious and sad.
>>150544611I don't know what that anon is talking about, but it sounds like it could be based on Kang's initial plot in EMH.
>>150545163This is accurate, but anon is leaving out the fact that it wasn’t unprompted and was preceded by years and arc after arc of something like ten different established figures in the horror community intentionally setting out to get him and ruin his reputation.
Here’s his F4 pitch, by the way. This came out about six years before First Steps.>https://youtu.be/dHn_HAs-PK4?si=W8Lpbr9C497Q6jpM
>>150545330Didn't Mr. Creepypasta and his editor have a leaked audio track where they make plans to falsely DMCA Slimebeast or someone else?
>>150545233Nah Christopher Lee is too big of an actor, people wouldn’t see doom just Christopher Lee.
>>150545370Doesn't that also apply to RDJ, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johanson, Brad Pitt etc.?
>>150545146>>150545193The easy fix would have been to use that filler time between Endgame and Doomsday to create their versions and then the big crossover would have been how these 3 super teams (X-Men, F4, and the New Agenger) clash in this new post-Endgame world because while there are mor heroes now, there are also more villains and conflict. At least the main focus is how the world, our main MCU world is changing thanks to all this world ending events and super people that start to appear, instead of necromancing old versions of characters and making them fight like toys for abstract reasons (incursions)
>>150545386Pfft no.

>>150545434Hmmm that’s a fair point hold on let me think about that>>150545417
>>150544297>It's another HECKIN' misguided boi with good intentions MCU villainIt's all so tiresome. Why do these writers not understand when a megalomaniac is a megalomaniac?

>>150544452Worse version of EMH Kang
>>150544297>he had a wife and child who were killed when>Zemo: my wife and child>Kaecilius: my wife and child>Wanda: My husband and children>Mandarin: My wife>Gorr: My childYeah, I think we get it.
>>150545146They could have totally introduced MCU versions of those teams. The Muggas were just hiding. Doom was in Latveria (his backstory mostly happens without anyone else involved past Reed in college), the FF probably don't have powers yet.Easy.
>>150545287Depends who’s writing, but making the multiverse the central focus was always a bad decision. The only success they’ve had with it is nostalgia festsI truly believe the themes found in movies like Ghost in the Shell, Alien, Truman Show, etc would have kept asses in seats if Marvel had used them instead of the shit we have now
>>150545233You will be wrong. It will end in just another disney fuck up

>>150545403Another good idea is use this chance to kill all the new characters in the most violent possible wayCaptain Marvel, She-Black Panther, She-Hulk, Captain Falcon, etc.
>>150545582Kang was such a great character and because of the MCuckU he's become a joke. Fucking Aquaman in Superfriends levels of damage done ot the character.
>>150546371Thinking about it, have the movies basically fucked over every Marvel villain outside of some Spidey rogues, Magneto, Loki and Thanos?
>>150544698any good idea is a crutch for bad writers, the problem is every fucking tv/film writer now is a can't write for shit nepo baby
>>150546507It’s not a good idea to begin with. It’s a shitty attempt to raise the stakes while at the same time giving you a reason to not care>Oh, no. The hero from the other dimension who was only ever going to be around for 1 movie just died.
>>150545146Good take. I still think they could've written an effective F4/Doom into the mainline MCU, but the multiverse is pretty much the 'break in emergency', plus No Way Home made money hand over fist. Part of why I liked the MCU, at least the Infinity Saga, was that it focused on a solid core of characters with one overarching conflict. There was no reboot, there were few recasts (apart from the obvious). It was far from perfect, but in retrospect, you can see what they were trying to do. The vision was clear.
>>150546603>Multiverse is always le bad because.... disposable hero from other dimension is le deadTypical crtislop reasoning. More proof that people who think multiverses are bad don't have a functional brain cell and just copy what shill accounts from Youtube grifters say without thinking
>>150545857ThisI am so fucking sick of this. They are comic book villains. Let them be villainous, but all these twats were told in college screenwriting classes that 'antagonists need a believable motivation' so now every baddie is just crying on the inside.
>>150545146What about any of those 3 made them necessary to be at the start of MCU? Shit writing, weak movies, and refusing to replace actors did more to hurt the MCU than delayed appearances of those 3. Especially since all of them can be introduced at any time. Don't think fans will lose their shit if a good movie FF set in modern day was created. The first MCU spiderman was disliked for reasons unrelated to introduction.
>>150546707>slop guzzling retard loves bad writingMore power to you man. Most people moved on from the mcu
>>150546693>The vision was clear.Pretty sure he's only been pink and white, actually
>>150547384>Multiverse is le bad because... Le MCU uses it!More typical critslop thinking from Youtube outrage slop slurpers.
>>150546795Is Dormammu the only one on this cover who hasn’t gotten that treatment by this point?
But will they release any info on this that won't make me think it will be a shitshow?
>>150547429Mephisto and Red Skull avoided itAt least as far as I know
>>150546707Multiverses are retarded because they manage to trivialize most stakes and consequences just by existing. You can potentially tell an interesting story involving multiverses if you actually focus on them on a conceptual/narrative level but capeshit and things like it almost never fucking do
>>150544452There’s no way that script was going to be penned until the last minute
>>150545146Even worse when they finally started focusing on these characters that they finally got the rights to they just said fuck it and simply brought back the old versions of the characters for cheap fanservice.
>>150547761>Multiverses are retarded because they manage to trivialize most stakes and consequences just by existing. stakes don't go away just because there is another Earth, the reason you think that is because dumb creatives go overboard with putting as many variants as they can which overload people's brainsThere is a difference between the way Spider-Man TAS and the first Spider-Verse movie handled things vs the second Spider-Verse movie and the comics
>>150544297Boring.
>>150545146Literally a non-issue, not having the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is not the reason Marvel decided tp navigate without a solid plan or how they like to make shit up on the spot, they fucking up Kang was because they had no idea what they were doing and introduicng these heroes like they doing now is the result of them realzing that they could make money with cameo fests and pressing the panic button with RDJ because their barely coherent plans failed
>>150546795To be fair they've been doing this shit for ages now, Raimi Spider-Man made both Doc Ock and Sandman tragic villains too when in the comics Doc Ock is just an asshole mad scientist and Sandman is an asshole petty criminal.
>>150545146Here's my straightforward as fuck X-Men pitch: After the snap some percent of people came back "different" and it turns out their latent x-genes were somehow activated by the snap and reversal. There you fucking go without a bunch of confusing multiverse baggage.
>>150545193No, the problem was tying all of the disney+ shit into the movies, to the point general audiences feel like they have to watch them in order to understand the movies. Doctor strange 2 was tied to wandavision. It underperformed the initial estimates, with most people wondering when it would break a billion and never did. Ant man 3 was tied to loki. Underperformed. The marvels was tied to two shows and most people thought it was tied to fucking 3. It bombed. GOTG3 had a special, but because no one actually knew that it did fine. Captain America 4 went through rewrites to make it EVEN MORE CONNECTED TO THE FUCKING SHOW. Underperformed massively. Thunderbolts was tied to black widow(which ended up being a disney+ shit because of the rona) and to a lesser degree the god damn captain america show again. Underperformed. General audiences can keep up with a big movie every year or two. They can't keep up with constant shows. Say what you will about the self contained disney+ shit like moon knight but at least no one is looking at that and being annoyed they have to watch it to understand the next avengers.
>>150544630Kang lost to antman.I want you to read that again. Kang. Lost. To Antman. He is not an avengers level threat, he's a jobber. The only thing he's invading is the unemployment line
>>150548434doom lost to squirrel girl and thanos to nebula. fuck you retard.
>>150547722Has Mephisto even shown up yet? Also>only guy who hasn’t been made sympathetic in some way is the literal Nazi, despite sharing a role with universe-spanning deathmongers and multiverse-destroying magic userslike pottery
>>150548786>Has Mephisto even shown up yet?In fucking IRON HEART of all things
>>150548611Yeah and if fucking Thanos jobbed to Thor solo in Thor 2 then it would also be retarded to make him the main villain of an entire saga after that. The MCU isn't comics where there's 900 different continuities and non-canon spinoffs. It's a single continuous timeline. It just would make him look weak.
>Gunn fucking up Superman>Feige fucking up Doctor DoomCan we just end the entire genre?
You know speaking of Antman, another thing Marvel should have done closer to the start is they should have told Edgar Wright to fuck off when he was dragging his heels to make his precious twee Antman movie. Antman should have been a Phase 1 movie and it should have happened in time for Antman to be on the team in Avengers 1. Oh, and of course: it should have been Pym, not Lang. They could have even still gotten Paul Rudd, but he should have played Hank Pym. Pym is a glaring omission from the OG Avengers team in the movies; he would have rounded out the scientists on the team. Imagine Pym taking part in those science convos with Stark and Banner in Avengers 1. Would have been kino. And they could have busted out the giant-growth mode during the Chitauri battle in New York as a cool surprise for the audience.
>>150544297Honestly, they should have gone with The Maker as the main villain of the Multiverse instead. Have Dr. Doom be the Loki-figure that's taking advantage of the whole situation.
>>150549158The Maker would be even harder to pull off than Doom with the universe not having a Reed until last month. At least Doom is his own guy.
>>150549094Fair point, however, I love Scott Lang and he's like one of those characters they got right and I still care about. Plus synergy was a net positive for the character and actually brought new good comics.
>>150548611Doom also lost to Ant-Man. Beating characters he has no chance in beating is Scott's thing lol,
>>150544611https://archive.org/details/the-kang-dynasty-early-draftLeaked Draft of kang dynasty..very real..dont believe the shills that are still trying to debunk thisit has some decent action set pieces but overall this would have been a HUGE disaster...
>>150544831https://archive.org/details/the-kang-dynasty-early-draftNo..it was a thing..this was a real leak inspite of what shills are saying..the guy who leaked this got in alot of shit too..i hope he's not dead.

It never does.>still keep fan favorite characters they can trot out every now again (See, Hugh Jackman Wolverine, Patstew Professor X etc).Pillaging other IPs and other cinematic universes for characters or references isn't fan service or some grand action, it's creatively bankrupt.

>>150545146Okay but they've had all rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four since the month before Endgame's release and Sony has been willing to play ball with Spider-Man. The state of Marvel is their own fault for bungling their assets after getting everything back.
When will audiences finally get tired of this multiverse cameo shit? Is it really that big a draw to see a bunch of 50+ year old actors playing the X-Men again?
>>150550005>Multiverse Saga>omg we want the x men and nothing else lolwell, they're finally getting what they want.we could say that Marvel didn't use the multiverse to its full potential but truth is, they did. the characters met people from other universes and travelled to other dimensions, even. the problem is that the dumbass audience wants the fox-men and raimiman.
>>150549649i would be surprised if we don’t get some kind of nod to the ferrigno/bixby hulk in secret wars.

>>150545403The Fox acquisition was finalized in like 2019, and we didn't get the F4 until THIS year. There must've been some weird clause, but even that sounds stupid. Well, and the pandemic set back pretty much everything by a year or two. I think they're necromancing the old versions because they know that it's now or never. We all saw how well No Way Home and Deadpool 3 did, and they know this is their last chance to put Jackman Wolverine and Maguire Spider-Man next to RDJ, Evans and Hemsworth in the same shot
I keep seeing the Steve thing get posted. And if it's true it'll be one of the worst most contrived things I've ever seen. Making his happy ending into him being responsible for worlds dying is so fucking awful.

>>150550323I don't think you understand how fucking bad Fant4stic was. They could never get any normie to see a F4 movie after that. F4 2005 was salvageable, those were just mediocre and people didn't hate them, they could have rebooted from that. Hell, get rid of Jessica Alba and you have a decent cast right there. But Fant4stic? Complete laughingstock, known to be the worst movie of the year. They needed to wait on that one.No idea about X-Men though. Apocalypse wasn't THAT bad.
>>150550562I want to see Logan. Not an increasingly washed up Hugh Jackman they’ve already done the joke about literally desecrating his corpse to be putting onscreen. I want to see Spidey. Not IRON BOY. I want to see the Cap who saved America, not the Cap who ducked his entire timeline to get his dick wet. I want to see Thor. Not the increasingly unfunny buffoon they call a thunder god.
>>150550633>get rid of Jessica AlbaTell me you don’t understand why the average normie saw those movies without telling me you don’t understand why the average normie saw those movies.
>>150544698Perhaps a crutch all the same but it's really the only reasonable way to bring in new characters and missed plots. Most of the main avengers are gone after all
>>150550633Oh shit, you're right. It was the go-to laughing stock of capeshit before Sony started doing those Spider-villain movies with no Spider-ManSo even if a new F4 movie had released in 2023, it would've been announced in, what, 2020? Which is still kinda close to Fant4stic so the stink of failure would've still been fresh>Apocalypse wasn't THAT badDark Phoenix and The New Mutants were in 2019 and 2020 respectively
>>150550633>>150550877The mechanics of the multiverse were first planted in Endgame, which was written around 2017-2018, meaning the multiversal plot was already seet in stone before they could legally do anything with the X-Men and FF. I guess the idea of integrate them via multiverse sprang out from that; had they gotten the rights earlier, the whole post-Endgame storyline might've been different.
>>150546371As a fellow Kang fan, I know your pain all to well and can only hope he gets into Tokon or something game wise to salvage some of the damage. Jed Mackay and Al Ewing also seem like the only current comic writers who want to use him and actually treat him well at the moment.
>>150546496Red Skull, High Evolutionary, Ego and maybe Obidiah Stane were the only villains not butchered utterly by the MCU. Though Red Skull also is unlikely to meaningfully come back and is just in a horrible space limbo so 50/50 on his treatment.
