Considering the absolute bullshit surrounding Zaheer's mastery of airbending after having it for like a week and him managing to unlock super sekrit airbending powers that nobody else including actual fucking airbending masters managed to, I consider it a borderline miracle that Bryke was somehow not retarded enough to have Zaheer wipe the floor with Tenzin. Then again it felt pretty jarring considering Zaheer destroys everybody else in a fight in the series and then kept pushing how him and his team were supposedly super dangerous while jobbing pretty hard to characters they should be annihilating with little effort.
