I've only seen one episode but seems actually restrained for adult show? Not just endless supply of gore and sex jokes.Saying it as a good thing.Yeah, there is gore but I'd call it "amount that Gravity Falls used or would use if they could get away with it'. Again, just early impressions but it feels refreshingly clean compared to Rick and Morty.With that said...I just didn't laugh at anything enough to get me interested enough for a second episode.

>>150569735Considering they're not pairing everyone off into couples, I'm gonna say not quite the OG, but definitely not the yank version, either. Also, why is Katy Wix the best character in everything she's in? Not Going Out has blown goats since she left yet it still got nine or ten additional series since her departure.
It has it's moments, but feels like a lazy knock off of Ghosts and Bob's Burgers. Voice acting is decent, the gore and horror elements are enough to break up some of the dullness. There are a few good nods to horror movies and tropes. Overall it's a bit meh but has potential. If you are looking for something casual it's not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. Maybe a B- or C+ show. I feel like the second season might make or break it. I do like that they swapped out the sitcom father for an uncle and added in an adopted son/demon as it does give it room to grow and distinguish itself from other animated families. Right now it's a little formulaic, but has potential.

Just watched the first two episodes. Not really funny, but I don't laugh at new shows and movies anymore aside from a slight chuckle now and then. It's not boring; it's entertaining enough for what it is. It's not woke (yet) and the characters are likable though very cliched. The demon-boy doesn't really fit though. He feels very tacked on. Also not a fan of how they just dump you in the middle of it; would have much preferred the first episode to be about the family moving in and discovering the hotel is haunted.Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10.
