This is creepy
>>
>>150586074
It reminds me of Elmer McCurdy.
>>
>>150583546
He really is burning in hell after all...
>>
>>150586156
I think this is worse than Elmer McCurdy, because at least Elmer was nothing more than a corpse on display. This is a computer pretending to be a dead person.
>>
>>150583546
Not surprised since his twitter was still promoting Marvel stuff after he died.
>>
It's IN the end.
>>
>>150583546
Yes, he won by living through the 70s fucking teenagers and doing coke then dying before having to witness this shit
>>
>>150586746
>IN the end.
It doesn't even matter.
>>
>>150583546

the only way this could get any worse is if he's self aware in there.
>>

Someone should ask it if the whole elder abuse and exploitation thing is true. Would it deny it?
>>
>>150583546
Why Stan Lee, though? This is not only hilariously disrespectful, but it would have been better to use that technology to create an interactive character that cannot be played by a human, such as Groot or Rocket Raccoon.
>>
>>150583546
So what's the difference between this and an Audio Animatronic of a dead person?

New generations are immune to this i assume. I remember a essay about how people interpreted 2001 a Space Odyssey and the scene where Hal pretends to be afraid of dying to persuade David to not turn him off, most people above 25 felt disgusted as the movie intended, but most young people were genuinely willing to defend the murder toaster

I assume that this family will directly be paid for this so they most likely funded it, his creations are 100% marvel property

>AI Stan! Would you take a picture with my Striperella DVD?
>***Warning! Stay put! The Con security will scort you to the exit! Warning! Stay put! The Con security will scort you to the exit!***

Way back in the 2020's
Suits from media companies
Emulated famous guys and ladies
And made amusing software copies
Now their clones are on repeat now
And they'll never get to die
Glitching, tripping, rambling
Time to cringe, shiver and cry
Time to watch

That’s obvious
>>
>>150583546
If this was anyone else? It'd be creepy.

For Stan Lee? This is 100% on brand.

And I know for a fact they are doing this with William Shatner as well with his blessing.

Despite his struggles, Kirby won his entire life in a way. He was always known as King of Comics and died with an estimated networth of 10 million. After his death, his family got a settlement worth 8 figures. He certainly could've had more, but it's not like he didn't live a successful life by most measures.

Ditkochads keep winning
>>
>>150583546
who actually finds enjoyment in this instead of experiencing some kind of existencial dread?

Of course, better writer than Stan as well.
>>
>>150590582
Not sure I'd call him better. He just has a different sort of appeal, Stan's writing was effective for what it was. Even Ditko acknowledges that, despite disagreeing with the direction.
>Stan’s dialogue style of hero/villain wisecracking, undercut the conflict of hero, villain – but it worked with readers who just wanted to be entertained. I believe Stan loved writing those corny captions. It added to reading appeal but undercut a more serious growth of a teenager in an heroic role.

Stan's dialogue works better for some things, Jack's works better for others.

That's fair, Stan did have his moments. I like his wisecracking Spidey for a lighter read, Jack's "epic" stuff when I want something with more gravity.
>>
>>150590556
Steve Ditko was smart to keep out of the public light and photographs, Now his image is unmarketable to huge corporations
>>
>>150590637
Stan Lee without Kirby and by himself is Stripperella.
Jack Kirby without Lee and by himself is New Gods, Eternals and Kamandi.
>>
>>150586882
What happened to that documentary some guy tried to crowfund
>>
>>150590574
Lord Moloch, the insane demon god who hates us all and wants us to suffer forever.
>>
>>150590879
Yeah that's pretty much my take on it too.
>>150591059
I'm not disagreeing that Kirby was better at coming up with concepts and plots in general. I'm pretty sure Stan was pretty hands off with Stripperella too, beyond helping with the name and initial idea. It's not like he was writing the show.
>>
>>150591127
Lard Moloch wants to tongue my anus forever and he will like it.
>>
>>150590980
Exactly, he had the right idea
Plus, Spidey alone has cemented his legacy without need for his personal involvement
>>
>>150591259
He will. You, however, won't enjoy having His thorned, razor-sharp tongue tearing your insides apart from anus to mouth for all eternity one bit.
>>
>>150591372
I will. And I'll laugh as he calls me master and begs for more.
