>>150585629Indeed. It’s pretty cool.
>>150584881thanks anon.

>>150585013>True Paladins can’t be evilThe based of the based
>>150585097I love Chat
>>150586597Truly the best girl of Spider-man franchise
>>150586862No doubt about it
MJ would be just as good as Chat if Marvel editorial wasn't hellbent on mustreating her since the 90s. Chat is best precisely because she's a supportive love interest who isn't characterized wrongly in favor of shitty plotlines and retcons
>>150585181Wolverine getting ready to get his ass beaten by Spidey again I see
>>150587588MJ was written as selfish bitch from the start. Sure, her issues are understandable because of background with abusive father, but you never see Chat doing shit-testing bullshit like pic related to Peter let alone more toxic stunts her modern iteration is guilty of
>>150587741>MJ was written as selfish bitch from the startso was Peter, it's literally the basis of his origin as a superhero. MJ and Peter learning to overcome their faults and begin to love each other is exactly why their relationship is at least a tier above others like Gwen, Felicia, Kitty, etc. MJ choosing to overcome her own struggles and flaws and be a supportive figure to Peter despite being a normal human. her being understanding of his compulsion to do good and not throwing hissy fits about his crimefighting career (except when intentionally written out-of-character like I said), all of this is the product of a well-written development arc that she and Peter go through. Chat too is high up there in the tier-list of Peter's love interests over the decades, but imo she (for better or for worse) lacks that slow burn into soulmates relationship arc that Peter/MJ had during the 70s and 80s, eventually culminating in their marriage. had Chat not known about Peter and his identity via Emma's telepathy, her relationship arc with Peter might've definitely taken a similar longer path before culminating in a proper relationship, because she too is written like an ideal foil to Peter that, like I mentioned, other like Felicia or Gwen lacked.
>>150587831>slow burn into soulmates relationship arc that Peter/MJ had during the 70s and 80s>when you have stuff like pic related from that same eraLet's not exaggerate
>>150587717
>>150588006>>150587717Only X-men who have positive win record against Spidey are telepaths. Rest of them tend to get beaten up like red-headed stepchildren
>>150584881>lolli
>>150585181It’s crazy how easy it is to write a good spider-man story when you’re not bogged down with bullshit continuity.
>>150587860Some writers/ed just don't like MJ, then write the comically cruell scene you post.Other writers are more interested in nuanced story telling. picrel
>>150588727
>>150588115I think his Spidey-Sense should falre up when telepaths are messing with his brain and send a sharp pain in their heads
>>150589013>t. Cody Zigler
>>150589013Spider-man soloed the entire non-telepath roster of X-men during Secret Wars (Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler etc.) and got instantly mindwiped by Xavier. Like it or not, there's nothing Spidey can do against sufficiently powerful telepaths
>>150589147Huh?
>>150589174Yeah I get that but I dont know why Spider-Sense is not a deterrent against telepaths. Would really be cool if it did
>>150584934That crash definitely killed the dognapper, right? Look at the middle panel, his skull bounced off the concrete like a ping pong ball
>>150590750Nah, just a flesh would
>>150584949>Get Blunt for pretzelsWas this originally Get Bent, but got edited down?
>>150585181Thanks for the dump. I forgot how fun this series is.
