20 years ago, Family Guy made its grand return with this Direct-to-DVD "movie" after having been cancelled a few years earlier in 2002.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmOfArIhrSsWhat are /co/s thoughts on this "movie" and the impact it would have on the show going forward? The seasons right after were practically made for DVD too, allowing them to get away with edgier material that the show would end up being known for (Family Gore included). With three different cuts of episodes would be produced: uncensored DVD cut, the less censored Adult Swim cut, and the more censored FOX cut.I personally enjoyed this and the early post-revival seasons, it gave us some of the more iconic gags and episodes.>Stymie Gruffin: The Untold Story. It's not a movie at all, Brian! Just three episodes back-to-back. This thing is an insult. It's a middle-finger to the fans, is what it is!
>>150593909I need to watch this one. I have the first three volumes of Family guy on DVD, anything else essential I'm missing? I also have Blue Harvest and its sequel, but not the final one.
Why didn't they make it a theatrical film
Drunk loise at the red carpet was hot.
It stretched a bit thin but I enjoyed it. I thought they struck a good balance with Stewie's character here, now he's just the token gay for the writers to make lazy edgy "haha infant sodomy" jokes.
Where do you guys watch Family Guy anyway. I tried youtube but it was crap. It had long videos of snippets of episodes. Probably so they wouldn't be taken down, but still annoying to watch.
