Though I think many people can be fooled despite what’s literally in front of their eyes if the argument for the other sounds somewhat coherent, especially if they like that side (GOW). Some people would call immediate bullshit, especially if they actually see what happened in AW. However many haven’t and what they’re being shown is being filtered through DB and just being told. They haven’t seen or played through the space fight segment which would give them a much better view of everything that happened in the AW DLC.

It was even a plot point that Kratos was helpless before Atlas and had to persuade him in GoW2. Not saying Kratos isn’t strong against his enemies but for his major threats, specifically Cronos and Zeus, he needed the BoO to truly handle them.
