>>150643881I've said it before in other "Family Guy movie" threads, but to me the easiest plot for Family Guy movie that maintains the cadence of the show (Peter's impulsiveness framed as a parody of classic sitcoms and pop culture) would be a story where the a famous filmmaker comes to Quahog to film a documentary, and the Griffins end up hijacking it and becoming the center of attention to said filmmaker's chagrin. Throw in an action B-plot where Brian and Stewie try to sell a screenplay only to discover every Hollywood conspiracy is true, and you've got a winner. It's an easy excuse to keep the cutaway gag and celebrity references humor with context.

It looks unnaturally smooth in some way like it's rotoscoped or tweened in some way that I can't well describe. David Silverman and Brad Bird's work for the early seasons looked much better than this, where it was still fluid but not uncanny. If I had to guess I'd say it's because they were still allowed to go off-model back then.
