Been thinking of this. The timeline they present just does not add up.The main thing is this show never "leaked". It was officially released on Disneylife Phillippines on Donald's anniversary (so intentionally as it was promoted as such). and the pirated copies came from that. This was also 2018, one year after Ducktales debuted and when they had a lot of backing to it, they were even thinking of spinoffs at that time. Meanwhile, this was a show that was created before Ducktales' development and wrapped up before then while they held it for years, they were not going to suddenly mass promote it in 2023 when at that time they thought Ducktales was not going to fail.In short they never intended to promote this and never intended for it to get more then its base 13 episodes, arguably they never intended to release it if it was not "test runned" in the Philippines. If they wanted to promote on Disney+ they would just not suddenly dump it on that random service to die. I think execs just flat out lied to Danner to not make him feel bad since they actually do get a lot of projects out of him and tried making up for it later.
