Anyone else cartoon maxing for language learning right now? It really is the best way to quickly learn a language. The hard part is finding cartoons that aren't too hard or too easy for your given level.
Any cartoons you guys recommend? I'm learning Chinese with Adventure Time.

The strat is to start with peppa pig then work your way up to Bluey and finally watch shit like Spongebob and then the Simpsons. All of these cartoons are dubbed in every language so it works no matter what you are studying and each have enough content to get you to the next stage.

For any beaner itt- Steven Universe is [erfect for learning english and familiarizing with correct everyday pronounciation, they use extremely simple and common words throughout the whole show for some reason. It's very helpful if you can stand the show.

/co/ seems to have a great interest in French comics and cartoons while frequently complaining about how often they're left untranslated. Well I've got some good news for you, French comics are a fucking excellent way to become familiar with basic vocabulary and grammar.

you gotta start with babby shows, but i would recommend babby shows from the country you want to study

it seems you already know the trick of using subtitles in the language you want to learn, so that's good.
movies are also a good way to learn, maybe experiment with some pixar films?

I'd recommend comics in general for learning to read in a different language. You get visual accompaniment to help you with context but also you get the text in clearly separated speech balloons that help alot with parsing information.

Only thing to watch out for is comics that use phonetic pronunciation. If you were a poor soul who wanted to learn English using Lil Abner you'd have crippled yourself linguistically.

Or if you're a smart kid, just start with SpongeBob right away. Try to understand the theme song with its rhymes, speed, and vocabulary. It's a sea shanty if you didn't realize

This, I genuinely learned a fuck-ton just reading Asterix, Tintin, and Lucky Luke. You don't have to delve deep at all, and if you come across something you don't understand you can either infer what's being said from the context or just look it up. Asterix is how I learned about stuff like the ne... que construct.

You have recommendations for where to find foreign language versions? I’ve been trying to learn French but need to work on listening comprehension. Don’t know where to find stuff like peppa pig in French
