Hasbro owns the characters/trademarks just not the actual designs from Machine Robo which are by rival Bandai. Crasher's deco was designed by Tonka rather than be the original version of the Machine Robo mold so its why Crasher's deco stays the same whereas the other Gobots characters are minibot repaints based on prototype colours that they slapped the gobot character trademarks on like Pathfinder being the Blue Cosmos cause they are both UFOs.
