Just realized today that Season 1 was already out on Netflix since I haven't really been paying attention. Just done with Episode 5 right now and I have to say I enjoy the show a lot more than I thought I would. Aang's, Katara's and Sokka's actors are pretty much perfect. Zuko's is decent too. The effects are enjoyable as well as the OST from the original series.

Only complaint I have so far is that Azula's, Tai Lee's, and Mai's actresses are fucking awful. They're all fat and flat faced and not athletic at all. They even fucked up Azula's personality.

They're going to tone down Toph's tomboyish nature because it's "unrealistic".

I noticed they towed down Sokka's sexism and general sense of humor a lot so far. Katara also seems a tid bit less sassy than in the original. I still enjoy the show so far, they still feel a lot like the characters to me. I'm gonna watch Season 2 probably solely for Toph regardless.
