Companies are already losing money trying to fully replace staff members with AI because they've noticed that they're spending MORE time with AI workers now due to having to review their work for hallucinations and made up information that they come up with about 5-10% of the time even when have fed transcripts of data they need to transcribe. The thing to realize is that AI IS a big deal. It's the creative equivalent to the invention of the printing press in my eyes. It gives the general man the ability to create things trapped in their minds without the barrier of years of technical skill. That doesn't mean I approve of the idea is shirking actual improvement in one's life, but I feel that for people who have more barriers besides skill (mental/physical disability, disease, etc) it is a good thing. Tangent aside, there's a gold rush right now of people looking for use cases for AI in order to make money, even if it doesn't make sense. Eventually people will realize what AI should be used for in the industry. This tech could revolutionize animation turnaround speed by expediting things like low-detail backgrounds and elements to AI that would only need light review by artists for mistakes before being implemented.
