When you have a character in a kids movie looking all scary and saying mean things about the main character, chances are they're supposed to be the main villains.
I feel like Zootopia 2's entire plot can be predicted by its general premise alone. This goes for basically every other animated movie, even movies that haven't even come out yet.

That's still a cop out. Everyone is going to compare it to The Bad Guys 2 because in The Bad Guys 2 they didn't skip over all the parts of the relationship that the audience actually wants to see. There was even an earlier draft where Daine and Mr. Wolf were already in a relationship that started between films, but they knew it would be a lot more satisfying to actually see relationship building on screen and then have an actual payoff.

Disney needs to fire whoever is doing market research for them because they're still following that bogus study that Gen Z doesn't like kissing scenes, as if a kiss scene ever deterred anyone from liking their favorite movies when they were children. Disney's so heavily focus-group tested that they're terrified of taking any risks, and it's not like it's without cause-- they have a pretty unflattering recent history of betting on the wrong horses when it comes to their creative talent. Unfortunately their solution was to start doing scrapbooking which is one of the worst things to happen to the movie industry. Make a 6 hour long movie and then just start removing whatever the test audience dislikes until you have a perfect 2 hour long bland movie with no sharp edges.

Just that it was so obvious from the start just how he looks he would be, and it was obvious to anyone over the age of 2 that the twist will suck and not even be attempted.
I think my real issue is how black and white it is which contrasts the first film. The snakes are all good guys didnu nothin and all lynxes are evil supressors, no exception, no grey area or complex characters. Pawsbert going against his family for the better good the whole film, or Pawsbert going for this plan then regretting it with change of heart of how evil they are and working against it, even if he is still arrested as a bad guy on paper, THAT would have been more interesting and more in line with the original film themes.

Most expect to be decent but not superior to the original. Must of people also expect the movie to confirm what 99% of the fandom want to confirm that nick and judy become a couple.
I expect a lot for this movie, but with disney, making turd after turd, their woke agenda and disney legimately making bad sequels besides frozen and moana, and their shitty live action movies, I want to watch it with zero expectations.
Truth to be told, I lost my fath in disney for good sequels the moment pixar did sequels after toys story 3 and specially disney made the worst sequel ever created: Ralph's breaks the internet.
At least the massive amount of artstyle, for zootopia is gonna get even more massive.
I really like anthropomorphic cartoon animals, too bad the western furry community ruined that concept as a whole for normal people, because I love looney tunes, sly cooper, crash, klonoa, and sonic the hedgehog but I really hate how furries like to ultra sexualize literally everything, but i love animals in general, so zootopia is a cute concept for a movie to me.
