Any fans of The Elementals by Bill Willingham here?
Me. It was good while he was writing it, one of the early 'superheroes in the real world books". It didn't shy away from the damage fights would cause and collateral causalities. It was hard to find for me due to no local comic shops and independents didn't end up in the spinner racks too often. After he left it it went in other directions and was less engaging. I liked his art in the old D&D stuff and the comic featured some cheesecake panels, good stuff to a young reader.
>>150693608I do like that it's a little more serious, but it still pales compared to the stuff around that time.

>>150694275That's one I found on the spinner rack. I picked it up because it was printed on gloss paper (rare at the time) and the art & colors really popped. The story was kind meh to me.
Interesting
