I have a theory about Joker and Ark M. So this version of Joker is known for being a complete serious stick in the mud, a nigh immortal man that's been around for ages and has endless resources that would make Vandal Savage blush. So what's the point of the experiments and freakshow results? Well, Absolute Joker is also aware of Darkseid's will that created their entire universe, the futility of their very existence or "joke". Maybe this take on Joker is doing all of this to make humanity something more, a chance to become something more terrifying than Darkseid so they can not only survive but choose their own destiny. He knew shit would get weird in the coming years (Wonder Woman, metahumans, etc), this is Joker's answer to it.Or I could be completely wrong, what do you think?
