>>150696272It's a cute show, but it seems it got its wings cut off early on when they switched animation studios, and they had to scale back any ambitious storylines to more mundane adventures that cheap 3D TV animation can handle. I wasn't a fan of how every old Transformer outside of Bumblebee and Megatron got shafted for the sake of the Maltos, there had to be a better balance. I don't think it's a sin against mankind like Transformers fans like to say nowadays, but it went from interesting to just an okay show. Twitch and the Chaos Bots were the best part, I would keep them around for future entries.

I think the idea of a post war series is a good idea to keep things fresh, the idea of Optimus and Megatron becoming friends once more after years of fighting each other. it really is ripe for so much story potential. the Malto/Terran part of the show the most domineering thing about it is clearly the least popular thing about it, like some of them are fine like Twitch, Jawbreaker, Dot and Alex but the rest eh. I especially can't really stand Robbie or Hashtag. Like i wanted to see a return to humans in the main cast but then it just has to be too touchy feely crap. you know what the real problem is, its basically a sequel series to a epic series we never got. its kinda like an Energon to a Armada without actually having Armada. in the evergreen era where everyone is kinda getting bored of the same exact group of characters over and over, it is the legacy characters that actually elist any sort of positive attention and they really don't get to do that much. Like at this point the Maltos and Terrans have bailed out these legacy characters so much, its kinda insane really. Earthspark being developed in 2020 really doomed it, you can tell they were writing everything in the zeitgeist of that year and by the time it came out, no one cared about that stuff anymore so it just became a net-negative. like there's things i like, the Aftermath character is great and the recent Quintesson arc was shockingly good but most of it isn't great outside of that. i doubt this will make the top 10 list of a best Transformers series for me. voice cast is another highlight, especially like Troy Baker as Shockwave or Rory McCann as Megatron.

>>150702581We got quite recently info from the showrunners that the show has just ended production last week, meaning at least 1 more season is in the way. Cyberworld is even cheaper looking than Earthspark S2 and 3, so it's definitely an online miniseries and not the actual replacement. It's not even airing on TV or any streaming site outside of Youtube. That one is definitely a show that had full episodes animated and ended production already, so we will just get whatever episodes they made, and that's it.
