Male Goblins were horrible little fuckers that deserved to die, but they were totally dependent on rape to survive. They could only breed with captured females of other races, and they STILL multiplied like rabbits. One all-male goblin nest with a single breeding female is strongly limited in expansion by that bottleneck, an all-female goblin nest only needs to capture a male for a week to create a comparatively massive population explosion. The goblin population is going to swing way, way upwards and without an active effort to cull them down to a manageable size they are an ecological disaster waiting to happen, or worse.2: The worst case scenario. If all of the goblins in the world underwent this change, they can undergo a change again in the future just as suddenly. If it happens long enough in the future it could happen when people least expect it and have come to assume that goblins are not a threat or even forgotten how to fight them entirely because its been so long. If the goblin population explodes to 20x its current size because no one is hunting them anymore and then whatever caused this change is undone? Now you have a massive goblin invasion everywhere at once. Whole regions of villages or cities would get wiped out before the problem was contained again, IF the problem was containable at all.Just because they have become less horrible doesn't change the fact that goblins are a weaponized species made for human suffering by an evil god. You have to operate on the assumption that any short term harmlessness they appear to have is in service of greater harm later.
