At a certain point, you wonder why they don't just get 12 year old writers to make the new Batman comics. The labor would be cheap, and people are obviously OK with that level of quality in storytelling.

I am aware of how Jim Shooter got involved with the industry. My point is that 12 year olds could not be worse than the current batch of current comic writers, and maybe they could strike gold with a new Jim Shooter before that kid realizes his worth and asks for more money.

Todd McFarlane's onomatopoeia style of storytelling is better compared to what we have now.
