Legitimate question; what is Captain America's stance on using guns? Is there a in-universe reason why he stopped using them after the war? He's not really anti-lethal force....technically

New York gun laws are just so restrictive even Cap can't get his hands on one.
>>
>>150714569
It's just a symbolic stance from his part, if he ever needs to use a gun, he'll use it

I think he’s generally against killing outside of the war setting, just a general respect for human life thing. There’s that whole arc early in Gruenwald’s run where he kills an U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M. member and feels super bad

Lol I dunno

He doesn't like killing, only as a last resort, and guns are really good at killing. He doesn't care if other people use them responsibly, and he will pick up a gun and use it if things get dire enough though.

I think it's just hard to reload while holding the shield.
