My awesome mom put so much work into it, even got the same hat.I also dresses up as the Grim Reaper one but with a black covered cloth in the hood so I looked like a Nazghul from LotR.
>TQmuch as I love Halloween, neither me nor my folks were all that skilled at making costumes, so I never went in anything all that impressive. most unique was a zombie knight costume cobbled together from two previous years' costumes: flimsy plastic knight helmet, sword and shield, plus a bloodied t-shirt turned into a crusader tunic with a belt and a red duct tape cross. threw on a rubber skull mask under the helmet to complete the look.

Frankly the whole waifu bestiary is played out, as much as it is kino. I would want to turn focus on real modern lore and spooks as inspiration for monsters to pick my bone with. Greek, Germanic and "oriental" folklore have been strip mined of monsters to waifuize. I would like to see someone's take on an El Silbón monster girl

>>150722128I loved your streams last week. I just feel that it should be 2/3 animation (using /a/ and /co/ shit), and 1/3 live action. Not the other way around. Yes, all out horror /co/ shit is rare, and most /a/ horror is tryhard, but there are plenty of Halloween friendly cartoons in both ends. I personally would include live action shit that was aired with Nickelodeon and Disney, not only campy and B movie live action. Throw in old and new anthology shows, like Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Ultra Q, The Storyteller, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Eerie Indiana, Goosebumps, Haunting Hour, etc. Play more TV specials. I've seen shorts and episodes play on your stream, but not a special like Halloween is Grinch Night or It's the Great Pumpkin. Quackbusters is a good compilation from Jones era Looney Tunes. Look into more Latin / European stuff, they animate horror, too. La Casa Lobo is stop motion horror from Chile. It has an official English release out there.

This is probably the only place people would know, but does anyone remember a weird flash animated horror series from the mid 2000s where all of the stories were happening simultaneously? I remember one of the shorts being a guy trying to get away from a blind pig man only to get killed in the end because his phone rings.

The major issue I find is that there aren't a lot of animated movies with spooky enough content without recycling them over and over, so your suggestions to look into foreign animation for future streams is an excellent idea. And like the other anon said, many classic Halloween specials end up being played during my all-day Halloween stream, including Grinch, Garfield and Charlie Brown.
