Not even a geewunner, I thought the performances were great but just miscast. The characters just didn't sound like they should even if they went with someone else. Hell, even the BW/TFA voices of Optimus felt more like Optimus to me for some reason. Personally I think that Welker's performance in Prime was by far his best even if it was likely inspired by the movies as with Starscream.

that said why Peter and Frank didn't get to do any voices for One is the baffling part. Even in the Japanese dub they got their original Optimus Prime VA Tessho Genda to come in and voice Alpha Trion though that was a happy coincidence since he's the dub voice of Laurence Fishburne.

Beast Wars and the Unicron Trilogy were all done in Canada, so no way they could get LA voices for them. They tried getting Welker to do G1 Megatron's voice in Beast Wars but the paycheck wasn't enough. RiD 2001 was handled by the Saban dub crew
Cullen was sort of soft retired between the 80's and 2007, really only doing Eeyore's voice and a handful of roles between then.

Beast Wars/Machines were recorded in Canada and the characters weren't the original Optimus or Megatron. The anime series were dubs and historically use cheaper VAs; Cullen and Welker haven't really done anime dubs since the 80's.
