>oh no, AI is killing our "educational" corporative artstyle channel.
>>

It’s 9pm in India, go to bed.
>>
>>150719906
At the end he says he uses AI as a tool and demonstrates it writing code for him to create an editing effect. I don't think he realizes anti-AI people who use the term "AI slop" also think that is unethical and cancellable. If you believe AI is built on plagiarism and theft, you can't really make exceptions for when it's convenient to you.

I don't care personally since I pirate everything.
>>
>>150719994
The video literally only exists to shill their art book. They knew it would sell more if people feel like they're protesting against AI by buying le human soul art.
>>
>>150719906
They’re still butthurt over the brown dwarves? Even /pol/ stopped caring in 2021.
>>
>>150719994
I'm still laughing mad over here at how all of the outrage is focused purely on AI being used for art and chat stuff. Meanwhile, nobody is commenting on the oncoming nightmare with how AI is discovering mountains of new drugs, new materials, genetic applications, and use in drones and mass surveillance. No, let's just cry ourselves silly over art, meanwhile the thugs at the top are already finding ways to extend their lifespan so they can start pretending to be Godkings.

AI destroying art is a meaningless smokescreen, and it's working brilliantly.
>>
>>150719906
>it's another pro-AI slop post
Fuck off with your shilling for the technological equivalent of eating bugs
>>
>>150719922
>>150720046
I do not think they are being pro-ai at all, what they are saying is that this content is so shit in the first place that if it is getting replaced by ai it was slop itself all along
Which this isn’t like art where non-ai art by a competent person will always blow out ai slop. These YouTube “educational” channels like In a Nutshell are pretty much Cocomelon for adults. Pure nothingness slop
>>
>>150720042
it’s gonna be a long while before retarded chatbots are smart enough to do any of that shit, especially since they’re pulling from the world’s biggest retards for info (reddit)
>>
>>150720655
Not paying attention, anon. Chatbots are completely separate from AI being used for research and development. These are things that have *already happened*. There is already AI jet fighters, there is already new wonder drugs in design, there is already implementation of mass AI surveillance.

But like I said, the smokescreen won. You just keep thinking this shit is chatbots and bad art. They're COUNTING on that.
>>
>>150720042
People will always care more about their personal experiences than about objective reality. The future AI hellworld is mostly being built behind closed curtains, but the ridiculous slop images and essays flooding every site are hard not to notice.
>>
>>150720746
That's why I said they're counting on it, and know that the hysteria can be made into a feedback loop online with little effort. They need that so nobody actually starts screaming when they make genetic death viruses, life extensions, drones that track entire cities, etc etc; all because people are addicted to their little outrage wars about art and sex bots.
>>
>>150720042
People care about art because its something anyone can do, the Average Joe isn't doing much to oppose the constant surveillance or drug scene.
>>
>>150719906
Good. Its rich them calling anything else "slop".
>>
in the field of physics, steel made before 1945 is worth its weight in gold. all steel made after is slightly contaminated with nuclear fallout and this can fuck up experiments looking for faint signals from tiny particles

knowledge is gonna be the same way. books written before AI are going to be inherently more trustworthy, and valuable, than anything that comes after

Which is to say, bashing different things together to make shit up. Utterly worthless and not worth screwing up my county's drinking water.

I think this really became apparent for me
after the SAG-AFTRA strike.
They LARPED that they were some kind of vital defense for everyone's jobs but the absolute moment that everyone else's jobs were under siege they couldn't be bothered to signal boost or use their oh-so-important platform to help for jack shit.
It was so fucking pathetic because you know they bought their own hype on being "the front line."
Think about it, everyone was asked to donate to their strike, to tweet about their strike, to show all this fucking solidarity and I think people were under the impression they'd return the favor but they didn't do shit during the dock worker or the Amazon strikes.
Mark my words. Second Amazon strike this December with more emphasis on the robots. They do jack shit again and bitch when people are apathetic to their own AI-related struggles.

>our channel is all about a simple artstyle with bad animations and poorly factchecked sources
>OH NO, AI CAN DO EVERYTHING WE CAN DO HELP
Idonno, maybe you could make the animation good or maybe you could research accurate information. That would really help you stand out from generative chatbot noise.

the people developing AI for drug discovery are biochem/molecular engineering/bioinformatics phds themselves. we just never called it AI because it wasn't a buzz word then, but there are billions of base pairs in human dna and more than 170 million natural proteins, not counting synthetic ones being developed right now. nobody had been doing the mass analysis needed to test the binding affinities of drugs without computers in the first place

>gets 69K likes and 1.6M views anyway
I'm starting to think AI isn't the issue here.

Is that bad? I liked the ants video

They're not bad in any way, pretty informative and the graphics themselves are just OK, not complete Homoglobo slop

While I agree to some extent with you, I think reliable and accurate books in specific fields will still be there, but simply harder to find and will require the person looking for them to actual look them out. The problem is that nowadays true and accurate was becoming harder to discern and even more scrutinized by people even before AI, it just sped up the problem.
>>
>>150723088
This is a fucking garbage article. Your argument is based on a conference THOUGHT EXPERIMENT report? "The AI came up with 40 thousand hypothetically deadly molecules that the AI says are simple to make! No we did not verify if they actually are... but what if????" It's probably 40k variations of "don't mix bleach with vinegar." Reads like stupid doomer marketing.
