I feel like it was dead like 15 years ago, I think the last episode I saw was when I was in high school in 2009.
>>150720186I don't even think the creators even want to make episodes anymore, the show has a very large fanbase and is Mondos most popular show, I'm pretty sure Mondo could make more episodes if they wanted to given how much money it'd give them, but I have a feeling the creators just outgrew edgy stuff. Happy Tree Friends was a product of the old internet, a time when Flash cartoons were made to be edgy and obscene to flex what can't be shown on TV, but web cartoons have evolved a lot since then.Honestly the show was running out of steam by the third internet season anyway. Season 2 and the tv series had plenty of episodes where the humor was both gore and cartoony humor, episodes like Blind Date are funny cause they wrap the gore around funny visual humor. Season 3 was just boring episodes about characters dying. These are all the reasons why the show started to decline in popularity in the early 2010's.
They're so fuckable but I don't want to acidentally kill them.
