Like, even Harley's design had that nifty hood and made good use of her color scheme.But we all know the real standout was Clayface. Honestly, he felt like a better version of whatever they were going for in the Harley Quinn show.I think the real crime was that the isekai world itself was pretty bland. The whole point is to drop them into this world like an atom bomb and watch them create chaos on their journey but we never really got that.It needed to get creative.>They have to go to the guild to register as a party>They go to the marketplace because reasons>They meet the token demihuman race>They meet the token "battle maid" team that ends up in basically every fucking isekai.All these token moments that go pretty generically and blandly in most isekai would have been perfect fodder for them to screw up and they did none of it. Which in turn made me feel like the creator didn't really have any familiarity with the genre. Isekai is usually bad because of how often it's "self insert MC and his merry band of tropey waifus" but it can be really good when you get a cast with some personality in there and I'd wager that the Suicide Squad honestly are some of the best personalities they could have gone with for such a project, but they sorta just cut out what could have been a lot of fun setpieces and chaotic moments leaving it "alright" at best

Harley should've been thicker. She's always curvy everywhere else but Isekai had her built like a teenager.
