I know it's edgy and dated, but to me it's still over the top fun and a solid adventure story. I don't find much of the humor funny on any meaningful level, but it has some semblance of charm I guess

Do you enjoy Preacher, /co/?

It's edgy, dated &, dare I say, preachy

Well I am a product of the time it was a product of. So it doesn’t seem that edgy to me. I also think the younger generations are a bunch of big fat whiny vaginas so I suppose I’m biased.
At the time it felt brave and cool. Probably some things are dated, but being dated isn’t inherently bad.
I feel like its detractors fit into two groups mostly: soft babies that winge any time something adult happens relating to sex or violence, and bible humpers whose faith is so fragile even criticizing a fictional version of Christianity makes them piss their pants and cry. The rest are normal people to whom its not their cup of tea, but most fit into the first two groups.

We need to stop calling stuff like this edgy and dated. I saw someone do it with Transmetropolitan the other day. Idk I think if those are "edgy" then perhaps edgy is good. The only reason these look edgy now is because mainstream comics long since lost their edge

Totally solid adventure story. This and Y: The Last Man are the only vertigo I've read. Anything else to scratch this itch?
