>guy who regularly beats criminals half to death and gives them permanent brain damage says this
is Batman the most schizophrenically written character?
>>
In his defense he doesnt murder people
>>
>>150728752
yeah batman lecturing about police brutality is really tone deaf
>>
>>150728752
Those same criminals that work for Mr. Genocidal Clown?
>>
Remember being able to separate fiction and reality? I do.
>>
>>150728752
Yeah sure Batman should treat supervillains butter and not hurt them so much. Are we also going to forget that Batman started off dealing with corrupt police officers and those abusing their authority?
>>
>>150728764
he has 100% murdered people by leaving them in critical condition many times
>>
>>150728764
Yeah! He only brutally beats them and leaves them disabled and a drain on society for the rest of thier lives. Police just take care of business and that's that.
>>
>>150728752
Why would Batman support corrupt police?
>>
>>150728764
he's murdered countless people. beating someone unconscious is a life-threatening emergency
>>
>>150728925
All superheroes beat their enemies unconscious. Are you going to say Spider-Man killed a lot of people he beat up? The closest thing was Doc Ock getting brain damage from all the beatings he got from Spider-Man but that never killed him.
>>
>>150728956
>Are you going to say Spider-Man killed a lot of people he beat up
Yes, duh
>>
>>150728752
Batman shouldn't ever complain about brutality as it makes him either a hypocrite or a diagnosable insane person. Insane to the point where he'd need to be locked up in Arkham awaiting mental health care.

>No, you see, when I circumvent the laws and brutalize criminals, its okay because I'M the good guy! Don't you see? I'm Batman, but the police officers who literally did what I do and say the things I say are evil. But I know I'm good, so I get to mangle criminals. Don't you get it?!"

Instead, Batman should come at them from an angle of "You need to do your part correctly so the system works. When you don't, people like me are necessary. There could be a day where we don't need a bat-signal in Gotham, but that day won't come if you keep acting like dirty harry".
>>
Batman is a master martial artist who can knock out people without causing permanent damage.
>>
>>150728752
Batman is a private individual who can be held accountable. Cops can show up to the wrong house, shoot you + your dog and get let off on muh qualified immunity while boomersharts suckle their globalist balls.
>>
>>150729133
>Batman is a private individual who can be held accountable
and who is going to hold a member of the justice league accountable, they could take over the world in a day if they wanted and batman is richer than god

Batman's an anonymous billionare beating up a lower class of people. What the fuck are you talking about when you say "he can be held accountable". Holy shit, you'd have to unmask him before you can reasonably hold him accountable.

At least you an reasonably drag the police into a courthouse. If Batman showed up to one, he'd 100% be consenting to the song and dance. At any second, he could leave and that'd be that. He could throw a smoke bomb, or he could just walk out the front door and there's not a damn thing you could do about it because you don't know who the fuck he is.
>>
>>150728778
It's a result of tonal whiplash rather than it not being realistic, if superman said this the same line no one would bat an eye
>>
>>150728778
>Remember being able to separate fiction and reality?
What happens in the fictional stories is batman beats the shit out of people and then tells cops it's bad when they do it only he can do it. This has nothing to do with separating fiction and reality you retarded autist
>>
>>150729189
>At least you an reasonably drag the police into a courthouse.
Yeah, if you burn down the offending officer's precinct.
>>
>>150728752
Police brutality is implied to mean using excessive force, for example, beating an innocent man based on a hunch

Batman never does this, because he's a story character, he beats people who deserve it. Liberal brain rot says any black criminal is not guilty because of their skin color, but you're psychotic and normal people hate you
>>
>>150728956
Obviously his spider-sense tells him subconsciously exactly how much force to use to not cause permanent harm in a single beating.
Just like Batman's training lets him knock people unconscious without risk of death.
>>
>>150728752
That's why batman is more of a vigilante than a traditional superhero
>>
>>150728752
Modern DC doesn't know if they want Batman to be the rightwing strawman or another liberal mouthpiece.

As I said, at least you can reasonably drag an officer into a courthouse.
>>
>>150729419
Actually you usually can’t because the police have qualified immunity. Also courts have said cops have no actual requirement to protect and serve the people in their job

Salted or unsalted?
>>
>>150729461
These two things keep getting brought up, but then anyone can google cops getting arrested. Qualified immunity didn't seem to help this cop:

https://youtu.be/UEpVVT7d20s?si=WOU0P57MrJ7GHJuT

Though, I think we should acknowledge the fact that you're likely propagandized against cops anyway, so your mind thinks first of every one that got off and are just now seeing evidence of the contrary.

Also, the """"courts"""" said the police don't have to protect and serve? This courts just declared that for all 50 states? Can't you go back to bluesky with your nonsense?
>>
>>150728956
>Doc Ock getting brain damage from all the beatings he got from Spider-Man
Would explain his haircut.
>>
>>150729750
You can still prosecute cops for certain things, like committing crimes, but qualified immunity basically gives them a free pass to do all kinds of shit and abuse citizens. And historically we’ve seen countless examples of how they get slapped on the wrist. And even in cases where they’re fired for doing something wrong on the job, they can easily just get job in a different precinct or area. Cops with arm long lists of complaints of misconduct get to stay on the job for years without any repercussions. And yes the supreme court twenty years ago ruled that police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm. That’s why all the cops in Uvalde could just stand twiddling their thumbs for hours doing nothing while being armed to the teeth and even after authorities spent two years investigating it they were all cleared of not violating any policy or committing any serious acts of misconduct. They just let kids get murdered and that’s okay. This is how policing works in America. The cops are not there to protect you, they’re there to protect the wealthy and their property.
>>
>>150728752
Yes. Early golden age is barely the same as late golden age, and 60s, 70s, and 80s might as well be different comics.

The only thing that comes close to batman's insane leaps is archie sonic
>>
>>150728752
>schizophrenically written
You imply there can be consistency when DC, as a mechanism, must have a revolving door of writers.
>>
>>150729395
Comics write him as liberal mouthpiece, every other media makes him a strawman for rich people and the retarded "if he really wanted to help, he'd just give people money"
>>
>>150728752
>>150728828
>>150728892
Being unconscious works differently in comic book fiction than it does in real life. Batman has been knocked unconscious loads of times, if he doesn't have major brain damage neither should his villains
>>
>>150729077
Batman is just a spoiled manchild who thinks he and he alone can treat Gotham as his own personal playground.
