>>150729858>>150730040Well it was the 80s, and while it was coming up on 20 years since the ratings system began, it was still a lot like the early ESRB for gaming later on in the 90s; rather inconsistent at times. I remember seeing a movie called "The Gate" which was apparently PG, but I'm pretty sure by today's standards would be at least PG-13 since while not having any particularly gory moments, it was pretty intense in some places. Going back to the Transformers movie, it was obviously an attempt to make the film feel mature for the adults who were dragged to the theaters, and of course the violence was tolerated since the characters are robots who spurt electricity and oil when injured.

Rodiumus somehow could chuck Galvatron with enough force to not only break through layers of Unicron's body, but keep flying through SPACE to land on some shithole planet. Galvatron reassumed control of the Decepticons after killing Starscream, yet, the cons just seem to stick around on Cybertron and chill until Unicron starts attacking the planet. And so on. There's probably compilation videos talking about all of the inconsistencies at length.
