Are you going and are you going to cosplay as imp anon
I bought tickets
>>150731299How much was it?
>>150731342$730 for 2 people
>>150731353DAMN
>>150731353You could have bought groceries anon
>>150733305NTA but do you think everyone is living day-to-day or just stockpiling groceries with all of their spare cash
>>150731353and i thought i was lavish for dropping $150 on the book of mormon
>>150731353
>>150733333Nice digits but even if you did have 730 in spare cash there are so many other things you could be spending that on.
>>150733412Everything is a waste unless you're donating to charity desu.
>>150733490That's a weird take considering "everything" includes clothes, bills and food that you need to live and if you think those things are a waste you can always spend it on a rope and hang yourself instead of prattling on about reddit nihilism.
>>150733520>You need a dozen pair of clothes to live>You need phone and internet>You need premade meals Two pairs of clothes. One pair of shoes. Chicken, rice, and cabbage. No phone or internet. Cheapest house you can find. Anything else and you're throwing money in the garbage.
>>150730398I still can't...Is Hazbin Hotel really that big a thing? I keep thinking it's like a niche thing? How did Vivie get these connections? These people go from making webcomics to legit productions out of the blue.
>>150733657So clearly not everything is a waste, glad you agree with me.
>>150733755If you think buying Broadway tickets is a waste, then you think everything is a waste, too. That's the point I'm trying to make lol.
>>150733870I literally don't, there are a million better things you could spend that on that would be more worth your money but it says a lot you can't tell the difference. >That's the point I'm trying to make lol.Not a very good or articulated point.
I really really want to go so I can record all of the weirdos cosplaying as the radio guy or the gay spider. Holy fuck man...
>>150733922>that would be more worth your moneyAnd what if tickets to a one-time event are worth it to someone?
>>150730398
>>150730398>Ringtone
>>150733940That person probably has some seriously skewed priorities
>>150733870>blowing $750 on a musical is no different that buying food and clothing. Is this how the typical Hazbin fan thinks?
>>150733937They encourage cospaly. I wonder why they ask for your favorite character before purchase.
>>150733966More skewed than building a PC, or buying a console with games, or going to a different Broadway show, or going to an amusement park with their buddy?>>150733997See >>150733333Most individuals can get by with a couple hundred for the whole month on groceries. You can also go for long periods of time without buying clothes. Who the hell is constantly buying new shirts? Do you really need fifty pairs of pants?
>>150731353But why?
>>150734057who said anything about buying fifty pairs of pants? what is this flying to the extremes bullshit because you want to justify tossing out almost 800 on a fucking ticket? This is Vivzie, isn't it?
>>150730398If I lived in New York, I would picket this. Redeeming sinners is Christ's job.
>>150730398>>We're gonna be the new Rocky Horror!!!!
>>150733490If by charity, you mean me.
>>150734057Yeah, way more skewed.
>>150734054I note that they don't specify "from Hazbin Hotel"You could put Snake Plissken or Richard Nixon.
>>150734141or The Grand Wizard
>>150734095Well he sure has been sitting on his ass for the last 2000 years.
>>150730398God, envision the sheer autism. A theatre full of obese white women cosplaying as Charlie. FTM xitter trannies decked out as Angel Dust getting a train run on them in the bathrooms. A whole cacophany of teenagers and womenchildren shrieking with delight as their favorite songs about gay furry demon rape are performed by a full orchestra. A true thing of beauty.
>>150734160kek
>>150734089>800 on a fucking ticket? It's closer to $700 for two people for a one time event. I don't even know what the seats are, but I'm gonna assume it's on the upper end. Those are pretty normal prices for "has an audience" live entertainment tickets. Before COVID, tickets to the big shows at Broadway were going for $200 to $500 a ticket, depending on the show. Even Off-Broadway was like, $90 to $120 for something like Blue Man Group. And I jump to the extreme for clothing purchases because you're listing them as a necessity when most people go months, or years, without buying new clothes. And shopping at thrift stores is dirt cheap easy. Most people are also not spending $700+ a month on themselves for groceries. Having $750 in savings for luxury spending is not a lot, and that's only assuming that the other ticket is a gift. If you just bought your own ticket, are you saying you don't have at least $300 to spend on just a luxury item?
>>150734160I pity the custodial employees who have to mop up afterwards. So much semen and donuts.
>>150734185Dude even a dollar to see Hazbin garbage is too much, if you have 700 bucks to burn at least do something cool with it instead of flushing it on this autism
>>150734185>Most people are also not spending $700+ a month on themselves for groceriesBut they are for groceries AND rent and utilities and gas and insurance and tons of other things that people in the grown up world have to worry about.and in that world, YES, you do need more than two pairs of shirts and pants for the next five years, because they're not all deadbeats living out of their moms basements wearing tattered zombie clothing. You're either a shill or REALLY need to go outside.
>>150734235So the answer is yes? You don't even have $300 in savings?
>>150734245I do, because I'm not a retard that blows 400 dollars on a night of cosplay.
>>150734255So it's not a waste of money because of necessities, it's just a waste to you because it doesn't pertain to your interests?I see.
I'm dying the see the venn diagram between people who will defend this and also decry capitalism and demand a UBI and student loan forgiveness.
>>150734265You're babbling about how anyone who wants more than one Shaggy Rogers outfit is spoiled and in the same breath arguing how $400s for playnight is no big deal.Yep, you're a shill
>>150734308Never spent more than a hundred bucks on yourself just for something luxurious? Even if it wasn't needed? You'll get there someday.
>>150734332not before making sure the things I needed were taking care of.that would definitely include making sure I didn't have just a bum wardrobe and a box of raisins in the fridge.
>>150734367>not before making sure the things I needed were taking care of.You're not even at THAT point yet? Groceries is still a struggle for you? Wow. Sorry to hear.
>>150734385see>>150734235and holy shit, people are saying the tickets are over priced and you JUST CAN'T HAVE THAT. Nobody is saying don't go to a fucking Hazbin show. They're saying paying $400 for a Hazbin show is too much you shill. Is Charlie gonna come out a blow each attendee?
>>150734457>Those tickets are overpricedand >You could be doing so much more with that money, such as groceries and clothingare two different sentences. You can see that, right?
>>150734479no they're pretty connected. That's a lot of money to waste. When you say you're blown that much, you better have tons of cash (so that the groceries and clothing AREN'T an issue) or else you raise eyebrows. and you know this because your argument was "gee how many clothes do people really need? You can't eat chicken and rice every day and live in a shack?
>>150734054I went through the process of requesting a ticket. >They will be recording and the event will be available on Amazon Prime.>They make you sign a release form for filming purposes, highlighting that you will be recorded.>They request a picture of your cosplay.>Your ticket is not confirmed until they approve of your cosplay. The event is free, but you’ll be signing away your likeness.
>>150734549wait, the event is free? people are saying it's 400 a person.
>>150734520It's only a waste to you, though. If someone bought tickets to Hamilton, would you say the same thing? The average American has a couple hundred tucked away just for luxury spending. Not even general savings, but specifically for things like vacation, entertainment, restaurants, expensive clothes/jewelry, and so on. You keep bringing up clothes and groceries like the type of people going to see Broadway shows are also deeply concerned about monthly expenses. Of course someone buying tickets has enough money saved up to treat themselves to whatever they want.
>>150734607okay read what I wrote here >>150734520 because you obviously didn't the first time.
>>150734624Is the idea of someone buying things outside of your own interests a foreign concept to you, Main Character?
>>150734601There’s no charge, at least not pre-approval. Go through the process with a throwaway email if you want to check.
I am glad I asked How much the tickets cost
>>150734639OKAY READ WHAT I WROTE HERE>>150734520BECAUSE YOU STILL DIDN'T THE FIRST TIME!
>>150734643Hell no. I don't want Hazbin people stalking me.
>>150734652>It's a waste.>You better have your finances in order! >RE-READ THIS A THOUSAND TIMES UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND ITAnd yet, you struggle to read my response that people who want to see Hazbin on Broadway have the money so it's not a waste to them? What am I missing that you think is too complex to understand?
>>150734676>people who want to see Hazbin on Broadway have the money and you know this how?because AGAIN, YOU were the one telling people to scrimp and save with chicken and rice meals and cheap housing and only two pairs of clothes. Not the type of advice to give out to Richie Rich.I SAID If you got the money, then do what you want. If you're the type of person doing what YOU SAID and then blowing 400 dollars on a ticket to anything, you're are a retard. That's it. I'm not repeating myself anymore, because you just can't stand hearing that ticket prices are too high, SHILL
>>150734736>then do what you want.Clearly people are doing that but you say it's a waste and start talking about groceries anyway, lmao.
>>150734757It is a waste. Cry more shill.
>>150734795>It's a waste>Now excuse me while I spend another two hours on 4chanYou could've done errands like going to the grocery store or thrift store with those two hours.
>>150734795NTA but different people value different experiences differently. To some people , buying a game console + games is a waste when you could just be reading books from the library.
>>150734827at least I didn't blow $400
>>150734869Time is money.
>>150734841Holy shit, complain about a price and look at the shills fly out of the woodwork.>Just spend the money bro.
>>150730398what does this even mean?are they going to play the show on a projector or are they actually going to have a broadway projection made?
>>150734886I'm at work actually, so I'm getting paid for this.
>>150734892That implies that a lower price would've satisfied you.You would call people autists if it was only $80 a ticket just because it's HH.
>>150734907Wow anon, I hope you're not shirking on your other responsibilities first, or else that kind of comment is gonna raise some eyebrows!
>>150734912yes, alien. People usually like lower prices for things. $80 still seems ridiculous for HH for it's more reasonable than $400
>>150734927nope. I can do two things. multitasking.
>>150734935But if people pay $350 for a ticket, then is it ridiculous or is it a good business strategy? Because that would mean there are enough fans out there willing to pay for the amount of seats they have, which means more profit.
>>150734906That's exactly what they're doing. They have a projector with an orchestra and a singer doing the number.
>>150734959what the fuck are you talking about? is this for the benefit of the customer or company?
>>150734892Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it anon. Personally you couldn't pay me to go to a helluva boss whatever but free market is what it is.
>>150735058yes, I'm sure there are people out there willing to pay $400 to get shit on.something tells me there's a lot of overlap between the two groups.people who pay $400 for either while living like a bum are morons.
>>150735009It's not a ridiculous price if people are willing to pay it. If the event is a flop because it was too expensive, then it's ridiculous.
Vivzie shills in full force today.
Vivzie haters in full force today.
>>150735116fucking shills
>>150735183if Vivzie supports this price rape bullshit, then yeah, I hate her
>>150735183You're seething hard if you have to copycat my posts dude, go piss away your 400 bucks and quit bitching already lmao
>>150735100>people who pay $400 for either while living like a bum are morons. What if they're not living like a bum? You're kinda projecting alot onto people you don't know.
>>150735292just stop it now, shill. for fucks sake
>>150734160Don't forget the femboy traps, one of whom will get stabbed
>>150731353You’re so fucking dumb lmao
>>150735350The fact I'm paid 30/hr to post this doesn't mean im a shill anon
>>150734160God I hate women and fags so much
>>150731353Did anyone even verify this or are we all just taking anon's word for it.
>>150735366Get that gold desu
>>150731353for that amount money people should be showing up wearing in their sunday best not cosplay
>>150735386>Sunday best for a show about Hell
>>150731353lol spastic cunt
>Buy something someone wants, they get jealous>Buy something someone doesn't want, they call you patheticWhy do we even give internet access to the poor?
>>150736786Look outside, literally everyone is poor.
>>150736803The people you're looking at are either mentally unwell blacks or immigrants. Everyone with money is staying inside cause they don't wanna get stabbed.
>>150736825Well they're certainly not blowing paychecks on shitty musicals either that's for sure.
>>150736855>I may be a drug-riddled schizo, but at least I'm not paying to watch cartoons!?????
>>150736877Who are you quoting? You're the one who said the rich people are staying inside, I'm assuming that means they're not leaving for musicals since that'd be going outside.
>>150736886Does that mean the poor immigrants are the ones seeing this musical screening?
>>150736902Why would it? Poor people don't have the money and rich people don't stay rich by blowing said money on dumb shit.
>>150736939So then where is this insult going? Cause I lost track after post #3.
>>150730398>>No one posted Shrek meme yet.You guys are getting sloppy.
>>150736954I'm not sure what shit you're on either but I'm pretty sure you're tilting at windmills at this point.
>>150733870I work with people with mental disabilities, this line of reasoning, is something I see all the time. I see people who spend thousands of dollars on buying clothing for other people, because they are friends, and then have absolutely no money every month to spend on food and other things
