That's a longstanding tradition, Disney has always treated TVA like a very 5th rate nothing that only produces filler. Even when a show gets moderately popular it is still treated like meaningless filler. Never make any merch, never bother promoting anything, and when the show plays the finale it is taken off the air and never seen again. With only a couple exceptions to this rule.

Phineas and Ferb pretty much was able to make merch (at least during its heyday), have guest star appearance, and a few others that i don't know what else yet. Whereas others like Molly, Stugo, Hailey, and Primos where a complete failures as they didn't built enough time to build an audience or fanbase, and most of it is online.
