A Japanese toddler's franchise that's incredibly popular in a select few countries and has almost zero reach outside of them.

Looney tunes is still better and Chuck Jones's Tom and Jerry is the best version of those characters.

Mickey’s fucking rad, what do you mean

Mickey grosses so much cause he’s more of a corporate mascot than an actual character at this point. Every Disneyland Mickey ear merch to every toddlerclothes with Mickey on them contributes to his gross. Everyone of every generation can relate to growing up on Looney Tunes, nobody can really relate that much to growing up on classic Mickey shorts, I’m a zoomer and I’m pretty sure I was introduced to Mickey by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Is it fair to divide Marvel Comics and the MCU merely because they're separate continuities? Pokémon's games, its anime, and its manga are all separate continuities, and even among its games are a couple of multi-entry series in a separate continuity than the mainline games, yet they're all counted together. Feels arbitrary, though according to that chart, combining them wouldn't have even gotten Marvel to the top 5, so I suppose it doesn't matter.

I'm a late millennial, grew up on classic Disney shorts and I was introduced to Looney Tunes by Space Jam.
