He will act as a mentor figure, guiding Bruce through the use of Venom. There might even be some banter between him and Croc going forward. In the final battle he will sacrifice himself so that Batman has a chance against Joker

The thing with joker, I'm not sure where they're going with him. At least one of the glimpses of him seemed like a weird grotesque monster in the shadows. And he's clearly the one behind the black sites like ark-m, and they are doing human experiments in those. To some end I'm sure, and not just for inhuman soldiers. I'm sure there's some twisted philosophy there.I'm guessing in the end, joker is going to be like Arkham joker, a souped up monster. Because otherwise, outside of being a master schemer, which regular joker already tended to be at times- and it seems amped up to 11 here, with actual resources and power at his disposal, but beyond that there wouldn't be a very compelling threat to the walking tank Bruce is here. Imagine how anti climactic that would be. Just a suit like black mask.Nono, he's gonna be a monster, *and* smart. They made a particular point that venom not only enhances the body, but the mind as well.
I like absolute batman. It's alright. Problem with it is, it's nothing really that new. It's just movie batman. Where he's fighting street level thugs with martial Arts moves and gadgets. They took away his fortune, but what difference has it really made? He still had a top tier education, just instead of on his money it's on a scholarship, he still has customized gadgets that are not cheap, and he's what, a civil engineer of some sort as his dayjob? The kind of position that earns fairly well. He doesn't make fuck you money, but well enough. There isn't really a whole lot that separates this version from other "brass knuckle street level" Batman's we have seen before.Vs something like absolute superman, which is very different. Though I can't say I like that one much.
