Case in point you can have mutants be a strong thing among families that happens but you have multiple cases of 2 mutant parents having a non- mutant child and most mutants come from non- mutants parents children. yes it happens now more often but that's from radiation from like nuclear explosions mutants started way back with I think Annihilation or someone with a similar type name being the original one from the Middle East. Also your far from the only superpowered people on this planet we got multiple spider people Hulk people along with plenty of powers of different kinds and Origins some of people with powers closer to particular mutants then that mutant has with other mutants or that person's power has from people with similar Powers Origins.
