So just started watching Invincible and am really enjoying it. I decided to skim the comics a bit and wow, it's really different (at least at the start). I actually think I drastically prefer the pacing of the show compared to the comics. But I hear the comics improve later down the line more. Either way glad I finally gave this show a go, don't usually watch superhero stuff.

>>150775855The only part of the comics pacing that is lost via the shows changes is that until the Omni-Man fight Mark is basically Invincible and never bleeds. Because of that when his dad hits him and blood comes out its a massive "oh shit" moment. But that concept is incompatible with a lot of season 1's strongest moments and so makes sense to drop.
