I am an Andi fan, and I still gotta admit Frankie was honestly more sympathetic in the pilot than Andi was. Frankie is the optimistic dreamer, Andi is the cynical realist. Frankie is the heroic driving force to save the beloved Princess that the audience knows has a tragic backstory, Andi sees Gwen as a hunk of scrap metal (for now). Frankie is the overlooked genius talented savant, Andi is quite possibly an opportunist that is secretly stealing her bff’s work to advance her own career. And then Andi just, doesn’t get much screentime highlighting her positive attributes. That goes more to Frankie and some to Gwen.

I really hope episode 2 and onward gives us more perspective on Andi and humanizes her more. I think she’s on the road to potentially betray Frankie and then maybe get a redemption arc.

I love her and relate to her more, and I think she’s prettier. I hope she’s not just performatively talking bullshit in her angry rant about injustice because I like that she’s a principled person.

As a non Owl House watcher who gave this a go because it was easy to stick on YouTube I quite enjoyed it.
