Between Ragatha telling Jax she hated him and accidently brining up Ribbit, he actually hates her in 5 and 6. especially when she accused him of corrupting Pomni. I think she was giving Jax more of a pass because she knew Jax before his total breakdown, and it seems she really did blame Jax for Ribbit's death, and everyone else did too. Who knows how long he was guilt tripped about that?Ribbit's death predates Gangle and Zooble, so Ragatha is really the only one who knew Jax before his breakdown, and who knows what actually happened to Ribbit.

I think a lot of people make the mistake of seeing Jax as the villain instead of an angry victim lashing out in frustration. His behaviour isnt acceptable, but it is understandable. The desired outcome is for the negative hbehaciour to stop, and hating him and punishing him isnt going to achieve that. I'd even go as far as to say wanting to harm him as punishment is actually far less understandable than his behavior.Jax is victimising the people around him but he is also a victim and he needs to be given the same treatment as a victim if you want him to improve his Behavior.Pomni reacting to his behaviour with sadness and then challenging his Behavior is a good start. People need to stop giving him being negative emotional reaction he is trying to get out of them, challenge his behaviour, and give him the opportunity to act differently.

It just came to me but maybe the thing that could make this episode controversial could be Pomni entirely dismissing Jax as he starts going down the deep end through the episode and that ends up pissing off fans of their relationship because they'll run with the idea that Pomni left him down when he needed her most or something. I know the beach episode teaser is too small and unassuming to draw anything important from but for someone who was shown to be genuinely concerned about him last episode after his >much playthings rant, she seems like she's 'moved on' and kept Jax on a separate tab while actually going out and have a nice day with the others while he mops, which is very interesting because it calls back to how Pomni was kind of unwilling to do the therapy talk time with Gangle back in episode 4 (maybe because she was done with Gangle's overbearing presence as manager that time and also because to be fair to Pomni, she ain't stuck there to be everyone's vent wall).
