Bump if you're reading
bump
Is the werewolf a dude or a girl? BAKA zoomers all look like fags
>>150897648Belly button is exposed AND they're wearing a jacket around their hips, they're a slut is what they are.
Enjoy the art, its nostalgia to me somehow.
>>150897982Moss Lawton worked on Florpus so you can notice some Zim influences in Hellaween
>>150898016I do now that you mentioned it.
>>150896107Bump, I'll be back to read this tonight. Was actually thinking about reading it anyway since I enjoyed the first volume last year
>>150896115Reading
And that wraps up Hellaween: SpellboundThanks for bumping and if you like it please support the official release if you can or whatever
>>150896205>>150896215She grew up a lot in one year.
>>150899797Thanks for the Storytime been waiting for it
While Hellaween book 1 felt more compact and focused. The difference might be because it took so long for them to come out and read better together. These books should hit every button for annoying but they don’t because despite the overly modern nature, they are well told.
Bump for reading
>>150896235Sloane needs to have porn. There is nothing out there.
>>150896246Nice that Ester is still around.
>>150899797Thank you for the thread.
>>150900362Bump for reading but was thinking of requesting something with her but not sure to ask on the ./co/ threads or on the /trash/ board
Hell ya
>>150899782Will there be a third book?
>>150896107Was hoping this would get storytimed here, will be keeping an eye on this thread.
>>150906403
>>150896115bump
Finished reading, it was really fun. Thanks for sharing OP!
>>150896107Is this more or less in your face with pandering to the alphabet crazies than the first one?
>>150907064Same, you just gotta deal with it.
>>150897879>clowns>inside the clownSPOOKY!
>>150907110First one didn't go out of it's way to tell me I'm Hitler for having the audicity to be born as a straight white male so I'll give this one a shot.
>>150906436Well shit Hopefully word of mouth gets better
This was fun
>>150907642Yeah, it was a charming enough read, and the art and design was pretty damn great!
>teenybopper witch>big poofy hair>huge witch hat>skirt so short "mini" would make it sound long>zero pornHOW?
>>150899797>please support the official release>has even more they bullshit and faggotry than the first bookI will not.
>>150907064>In your faceA character being called they is not what I would call "in your face." You make it sound like the comic suddenly stops being about Halloween or something.
>>150902638It depends. If you ask for something sexy in Sloane's human form you will be able to post it on /co/. /trash/ is you want to play it safe with furry characters.
>>150907718Most series will never get rule34 without deliberately baiting gooners.
>>150908630First book has 1 instance of they nonsense that could be chalked up to a proverbial slip of the tongue on the writers part, and the vamp/wolf are implied to be a faggot couple at the end of the book but it's not explicitly stated. This one has a fagflag and it goes all out on the they nonsense. Both for the wolf and frankenstein, despite him being called FRITZ, a distinctively male name.>>150908948Amusingly enough I was skimming through last years thread and realized I made more or less the same post in that thread.
>>150909021The wolf is a biological girl.Sloane is wearing a what looks like a compression vest until the singlet.
I liked Hellaween 1 more, but I still enjoyed 2. Better art and had more character development all around, even if the hunters turning friends was rather quick. Some of the dialogue is getting rough (the "my actions have consequences" line feels straight out of a tumblr fan comic) but otherwise pretty good.
>>150896295ENTER
>>150908658/trash/ it is then hopefully ill get something before the season over
>>150907718People need to know about it.
>>150896107Based post, OP. I couldn't find this in any of the usual places.
This was a fun read. Any other good Halloween themed comics on a similar note?
>>150912012Scary Godmother
>>150907718Comics are NICHEEspecially non-capeshit (and even then specifically Marvel, DC, and whatever gets adapted) and non-licenseshit
>>150912168oh shit - I knew this was an animated special and had heard it was based on a book but didn't think to look for the source material. Good suggestion. >>150912300>Comics are NICHE>Especially non-capeshitThat's my jam and unfortunately makes it very difficult to discuss comics. I read a ton of stuff from Image and assorted indie stuff but on the rare occasion I meet someone who reads comics, they're usually into capeshit. Nothing against it, but superheroes just don't appeal to me.
>>150899080i've noticed a mistake in the fist panel, one speech bubble isn't colored properly
>>150899797Thanks so much for this. It's a rarity to see an IP why every character is very fuckable.
>>150912401I like capeshit and liceneshit but I get youI strongly believe /co/ (and comics as a community overall) would be better if we had more people into comics as a medium and not necesssarily superheroes as a genre or are in for it more of established IPsNothing against those who do solely read those but it'd help make the discourse surrounding comics better since all the problems associted with those three aren't applicable to comics as a wholeMore storytimes could ideally help but not necessarily Optimistically speaking we'd have more comics like Anya's Ghost, Beautiful Darkness, etc that do have lasting appeal on the board upon introduction
>>150896295>>150896307>>150896320Cute design.
>>150912757I only got into comics well into adulthood and it was mostly because I'd always thought comics were almost exclusively capeshit. Even when it came to Image, I really only knew about Spawn. I'd read a handful of super indie DIY comics that I'd randomly find, but had no idea how to find more stuff like it. Honestly, if it hadn't been for pirate sites where I could read comics online or download them and read them on a tablet, I would have never gotten into comics period. Being able to browse a ton of stuff and read for free helped me discover that there were definitely niches that resonated with me and that made it easier to decide to eventually start making purchases. Comic discourse can be pretty toxic, though. Saying that you're not into capeshit in most comic threads on /co/ is the equivalence of throwing a grenade into the room. It's almost like people take it personally.
>>150912981I honestly read his voice surrounding deep in the first book and didn't realize he's supposed to be an actual kid and not just a midgetThen again the juvenile dialogue should've clued me in
>>150912012Not necessarily Halloween themed but Prunella and the Cursed Skull Ring
