Her push for Lumity is directly what led to the existing suits pushing back against her ideas for the story (which is what lead to S1 being delayed), something that got worse as newer management (that came in during S1's latter half of production, and then airing) wanted DTVA's animated series to be aimed more for younger children due to the post-Gravity Falls shows underperforming with the 6-11 crowd. And by the time S1 finally came out, the delays lead to the show being the most expensive DTVA show airing while fumbling in ratings (especially reruns) due to the lackluster story and Lumity scaring away Disney's main base of conservative families.
