I read Bendis and Waid back to back and I think I preferred Waid more because he wasn't stuffing a novel into every page

Kingdom come was the worst highly recommended comics, I've read and Superman Peace on Earth was straight-up Garbage. I've avoided his stuff even since, in some cases without even knowing it. When I've heard about Tower of Babel I thought it was the most ridiculous example of a Bat-wankery ever conceived and decided to never read it. At first I was sure it was written by Bat-wanker in charge Morrison. I wasn't very surprised when I've learned that I was wrong all these years.
