Beneath the Trees. A badly drawn and even worse written revenge fantasy created by a man unconvincingly pretending to be a woman residing in a major metropolitan leftist controlled slum. In which he self inserts as a furry woman going around small town American murdering the sort of people he imagines vote for Trump. What a charming individual.

>>150917345Eh, pretty much the only thing it has going for it is the art which is admittedly cool with the whole children's storybook aesthetic. That said, it's an extremely bog-standard true crime story and I don't get the hype at all.
>>150917345mental mental chicken oriental
>>150917345I have posted a picture of the evidence OP offers for his claims.
>>150917345She doesn't murder people in a small town. That's like her whole thing.
>>150917345South Asian hands typed this
>>150917695Art thats just cool to look at is fine.
>>150917695>the art which is admittedly cool with the whole children's storybook aesthetic>dood what if, like, it looked like a children's book but it had murders and blood stuff in it????
>>150919039Yes, you tard
>>150919039I prefer Dwellings but Beneath the Trees is bretty gud
>>150919039Yeah? Isn't that what I said?
>>150917345yep, pretty much, their propaganda nowadays is leaning towards using impulses and furry sex to get people to consume their messages
>>150919769Kys retarded namefag
it's very repetitive too, they used a similar concept in the disappointment that was the sequel to the black phone
Those sure are a lot of buzzwords strung together.
>>150919816Well, you are an expert on dogshit opinions
Did you know its a major hit, a third mini was announced, and IDW is planning merchandise with talk of going Hollywood?
>>150917345the whole fucking thing is on the level of a writing prompt where he took part of a fucking nursery rhyme and made it edgy and repulsive
Who could solve her mysterious crimes and bring her to Justice?
>>150917345Here we go, some asshole tearing down what lots of other people like just because other people actually like it.

>>150917345>Revenge FantasyRevenge against whom? It's just a standard schlocky "bad guy protagonist has to face off against an even worse bad guy", it's just Dexter or arguably Hannibal Lecter if they were a hick woman from a rural town.>going around small town American murdering the sort of people he imagines vote for Trump. That never happens, the entire point is that she targets cityfolk whose disappearance won't draw attention back to her, and the entire conflict arises from a second serial killer popping up in her rural town and drawing unwanted eyes towards herself. She is very specifically trying to stop the murders of the other townsfolk, even if it's just so she can go back to being able to freely kill random people in the city.
>>150919941Detective Chimp
>>150919941Columbo
>>150919941probably Columbo right? Or is that too much a meme answer?
>>150919941She was "caught" by a retarded psuedo-intellectual college drop-out. If practically any fictional detective cared enough to connect the dots regarding the influx of disappearances in that city, they would probably catch her in the act. Her greatest strength is that she flew under the radar, that's why the second killer had her so panicked.
>>150919039Yes, that's the appeal.
I'll just read it if she eventually get caught or at least "lose", maybe if she needs to run away from her town and hide away in Alaska in another smaller town.It got pretty popular so I'm afraid they'll just milk it by making her get off scott-free again and again.
>>150922733Having a serial killer central to a setting can be compelling as long as you know how to write. One i think be great is if there was a edgier seasoned killer comes to town that wants to put her in her place and Sam cant keep up
>>150917345>man pretending to be a womanPatrick Horvath is a man dude. So is Hasan. Neither of them are trans nor are there any trans themes in the story???>murders people who vote for TrumpThe setting is in 80s which is the peak of serial killings dude. Trump isnt even the Home Alone 2 guy yet. >self insertSamantha is portrayed as a soulless freak with zero remorse or empathy whos haunted by vivid night terrors and only catharsis in life is murder while murdering people by preying on their kindness by pretending to be injured to get them to lower their guard.>small town americaShe mostly murders people in a city dude. For the most part she tries to avoid killing anyone in the small town she lives in as it brings heat and attention on her because murders/disappearances are too commonHow did you get every fucking detail of this post wrong? Are you like fucking retarded or did you not even read the comic?
>>150922818OP read a brief description and made his schizo assumptions based on that.
