Haunted Hotel premiered one month ago today. What did I think of it?
Stop watching cartoons. They'll never be good again.
American ""Adult"" cartoons could use more female nudity, this shit was way too tame
>>150918573Shut up homo
>>150918546I am confused about the audienceIt had some jokes that were inappropriate for kids, many of the scenes were just not appropriate. But they didn't take them far enough for adult animation. it's a weird middle ground that didn't really work.
>>150918546also, any attempt ive had at discussing this show has been drowned out by straight pedophiles obsessed with Esther, who is fucking TEN
>>150918709is that a problem? we're also obsessed with abaddon who may be older than the beginning of time
>>150918546I have a netflix but don't watch anything in a year. didnt know anything cartoon shit from there cause of how shitty they are.
>>150918709>who is fucking TENOut of 10
>>150918701I actually like the tone it struck, it doesn't feel the need to be overly crass like a lot of "adult" cartoons. I guess it's like a PG-13 cartoon really.>>150918709This is /co/, show discussion and sexualization of any and all characters goes hand in hand here. If you don't like that, this probably isn't the place for you.
>>150918709Go back to Xitter you wussy.
>>150918546It was great. Esther was cute as fuck and I liked all the ghosts stuff going on. The rest of the cast was genuinely pretty good too. Looking forward to season two.
>>150918709sounds like a (you) problem.
Better than what I expected it would be. Remind me of what bob burgers were, down to the character dynamics but not being so nerfed in trying to be very PC. is definitely there.
>>150918576Spbp
>>150918576Based
>>150918701>a weird middle groundafaik it's TV-14.The powers that be don't realize it but this "middle ground" is what should count as modern kids entertainment now. But even so, they still treat cartoons as stuff either for preschoolers or adults who love sex, violence, and swearing.
>>150918701It's the age range that's intended for teens and up. It's the age rating most of these shows are in really.
>>150918803Okay we got the bot's opinion. Any real person that has watched this may want to chime in?
>>150919350esther sexo
>>150918576>could use more female nudityHere you go.
>>150918576Well, this show at least sexualized the fuck out of the teenage boy.but as a show...meh..funny, but could me a PG show without anything be lost.
>>150919405I wish that one anon uploaded Annabelle's sheets too
>>150919424If there's even one. If there was, it would've been posted, like if there was a Heather Model Sheet.
>>150919656There has to be. Shows like this have model sheets for every character.
I was genuinely surprised it wasn't just some shitty adult cartoon filled with swearing but considering its rating it was very entertaining and made me binge instead of cringe.I do wish there were some more ghost varieties that existed for more than a quick jokeAlso not a fan of the ben gay kissing scene >>150918709out of 10https://files.catbox.moe/qqolzt.png
>>150918546What every netlifx show needs is tits, action and big tits.
>>150918546Girlbaddon
>>150920433that guy in the mustache is the most millennial character
>>150920504Nathan? They really do give him some of the lamest lines. I don't hate him but he's not one of my favorites.
>>150919003>>150919045It went a little too far for young teens, a bit too much gore, references to sex, the gay selfcest make out scene. I'm at least glad it didn't go full grossout like Rick and Morty, family guy etc
>>150918546First episode is really rough but it improves over timeYou can tell it was a show it took them a while to get intoIt's very reliant on Esther and Abaddon though
>>150920504Isn't that the point? He has that fake forced positivity and then you find out he killed himself
>>150918709All replies to this post are seething Pablos
>>150920433I like the cap over the coif
Esther is cute! CUTE!
>>150920650I didnt watch the show but while you spoiled that im not surprised
I miss Inside Job....
>>150920851We all do Anon, our only hope is that it gets revived down the line.
>>150920625That's how I felt when I first watched it. It ended up being a comfy show for me once they found their footing though. It reminds me of a weaker version of Bob's Burgers. The setting really helps.
>>150918546Too bad thanks to the way Netflix works, all episodes got dumped in a day and now everyone has basically forgotten about it.
It’s an entertaining 4.5/10
>>150918546This was one of the most ugliest cartoons I have ever seen. It was like Gravity Falls meets Solar Opposites.
>>150921678Maybe on /co/, but normies and fandom-types still seem to be enjoying it.Give it another month.
>>150921678honestly I think the show would've lost steam a lot quickly if netflix hadn't dumped it, most episodes don't quite hold up on their own
>>150921868Eh that the show is still managing to have a couple threads here and there is a good sign about it's longevity here I think. Most shows don't even get threads that last while it's airing new episodes. That this one still has even after the usual absolute shit dump schedule is a good sign.
>>150918546Generic script driven “adult animation”. Holy fuck, what I wouldn’t give for more visual variety.
>>150918576Thank you, im still livid TV-MA cartoons dont have female full frontal even with the same rating as shit like game of thrones and peacemaker
>>150920899> our only hope is that it gets revived down the lineNope. It’s been dead for far too long. At this point even if execs wanted to bring it back (they don’t), it would be a completely different team working on it. It would take them awhile to find their footing again, and when they did it would feel completely different. The show you knew and loved is dead forever. Best to let it rest in peace than to bring it back and completely fuck up the memory.
>>150920972Yeah I liked it overall but it's clear it took them a while to figure out what humour they were going for. Makes it a bit of a hard recommend to people.
I never watched Rick & Morty. You told me I would be shot and killed if I did. Why should I watch this if it'll get me killed?
>>150923685>from the minds behind Rick & MortyIs just a marketing gimmick. It was created by a guy who was a writer and story editor for Season 2 of Rick & Morty and Harmon was an "executive producer" which in Hollywood speak usually means>didn't actually do anything but let us attach his name for publicityIt's not really much like R&M at all.
