Some new art was posted today, and we know the next audiolog will be Boy and Door at O'Tolley's. I am curious to see how things go, espcially given we know a fire breaks out there from Guy and Kevin's audiolog.
>>150946923It's gonna be fun, to be sure.
>>150946923negress ass?
>>150946923Does this image imply Matilda clearly likes Amanda enough to not go full race war?
>>150948458It asked if she was the only human worth sparing on Alfa's channel.
Wonder what would happen if a hunter badass enough to exterminate the Red Talons and the reason to do so pulls it off, down to the last puppy. What would the other tribes think about it?
>>150949170If its the pups too then they would see it the way someone sees child murder. Hunters have a number of reasons for doing what they do and some don't even hate what they hunt just want to stop the bad ones from doing terrible shit. Its why I think the Creeds are cool.
>>150949374Yeah, well, the problem is that the Red Talons are misanthropes supreme. Even the nicer hunters would believe that they have to go, innocent children or not, though the kids could be taken by less asshole tribes.
>>150946923I'm hoping a burger-focused episode will shed light on how it helps treat Boy's puberty disease.
>>150949170The entire Garou Nation would probably go out of their way to try and identify the hunter and kill them, as they have have more to serve the Wyrm's agenda by annihilating an entire tribe of werewolves than even Pentex has ever accomplished. All of the rites and gifts only known by the Red Talons, one of the two tribes with the strongest connection to the Wyld and with a whole host of unique tribal totems, are lost forever, along with hundreds if not thousands of Gaia's warriors. This one hunter has likely made it impossible for the Garou Nation to stop the Apocalypse in any shape or form, and has doomed the entire planet to being destroyed, humans and all.Good job, hero.
>>150950380>This one hunter has likely made it impossible for the Garou Nation to stop the Apocalypse in any shape or formThe Garou did that themselves with The Wars of Rage.
>>150950649If that was the case, then there would not be victory conditions for the Apocalypse scenarios.
>>150950691There really aren't its more just stalling it. Garou basically fucked everything and now sort of live as bitter retards with some of them realizing that the need outside help.
>>150950702Yes, there are. The Garou can defeat the Wyrm for good in The Last Battleground and A Tribe Falls, the Garou can free the Wyrm to destroy the Pattern Web and reset the Tellurian in Weaver Ascendant and Ragnarok ends with an extremely imbalanced world in which one of the Triat is ascendant for evermore. In all of these scenarios, the Garou stall nothing, the world is permanently and irrevocably changed and in all of them, the Garou are capable of permanently defeating or restoring the Wyrm.
>>150950796Nothing is ever permanent entropy and creation are both inevitabilities
>>150950823In which case, nothing that the Garou did with the War of Rage or the Impergium ever mattered at all, because everything is possible and nothing is permanent and and blah blah blah nihilism nihilism nihilism. If you're going to disregard the written canon with nothing-really-matters gobbledegook, then there's not much point in the discussion at all.
>>150950860>In which case, nothing that the Garou did with the War of Rage or the Impergium ever mattered at allNo they still fucked up, its just that the forces themselves will exist, the people and things will die off.
>>150950890Do you think when the Garou say that they want to defeat the Wyrm, that they want to delete the very concept of entropy itself from reality?Have you actually read any of the books? Your understanding of this stuff seems very surface-level.
>>150951052Do you not think the Wyrm is entropy?
>>150952121No, the Wyrm is not entropy, that's a scientific concept. The Wyrm is a spirit associated with the scientific concept of entropy. What made you think that the Wyrm was a scientific concept and not a spirit?
>>150950796The Wyrm is a Spirit within the Umbra yeah?An old and powerful one which represents the concept of decay and renewal specifically in relevance to the circle of life? Assuming that someone even could destroy it, would it be possible to replace the Wyrm with an equivalent spirit?Or hell, humans are pretty good at playing around with abstracts (thanks Weaver), could they purposefully engineer a Wyrm substitute?
>>150953186The Wyrm will always remain as long as the concept that it embodies does, but it can be defeated, weakened, restored, crippled, or otherwise altered in a way that makes it less of a threat to Gaia and turns the Apocalypse from "the end of everything" into "the world changes forever and not necessarily in a good way but at least life still carries on."
>>150953521What would happen if a spirit comes into existence which is defined by Entropy in the same way as the Wyrm?Do they compete against each other for the niche until one is starved out and fades into irrelevancy?Do they fuse together?Do they co-exist unbothered by each other? What I guess I'm asking is:> Can a spirit subvert or usurp the concept(s) which another spirit already embodies?
>>150953722Something like that happens in one of the Apocalypse scenarios.Ananasa, the one true spider spirit, plots to usurp the Weaver and can pull it off with the aid of the Garou, if the players choose to aid her and free the Wyrm according to her design. If the players do what she wants, then she ends up kicking the Weaver out of the driver's seat when the Wyrm consumes most of the Weaver's power in a controlled fashion. The outcome is a new world in which everything is micro-managed by Ananasa, who enforces absolute balance with an iron fist with no room for deviation. Free will still exists, but there's not much that people are allowed to do with it without upsetting Ananasa's sacred status quo.So for the Wyrm, you'd need to find or create another powerful spirit who occupies a similar domain and has strong enough knowledge of the Wyrm that they can shunt him out of his domain and claim it for themselves during the moment of his defeat, while he's weak. The spirit would have to be a celestine at the very least though, and there's no extant candidates who could be trusted to take the Wyrm's place.
so next episode should come in relatively fast compared to this one right
