Would it be fair to say this show is underrated? I know that The Tick has gotten a few different adaptions, and I know visually it isn't the best, but I feel like this show's writing is a lot better and more memorable than other similar superhero spoofs like Freakazoid or The Ripping Friends or whatever.

Of course if the theories ever panned out Arthur may have had powers as well, specifically reality warping. I don't know if the idea of Arthur subconsciously creating The Tick works for everyone - I seriously doubt it does - but the idea of a man who feels a deep need to right a great wrong but no actual ability to do so who ends up creating a powerhouse of justice. But The Tick ends up half-baked. Only a sense of justice, but with no actual backstory so struggles to connect with the world and needs Arthur to help him. I think it's compelling.But it's over now, and ending on one helluva cliffhanger. Really sucks. I feel the same way about Ash vs Evil Dead. Some things are too good to last.
