>>150957766I was just about to say that the internal art on this looks webcomic tier. Feels like someone is trying to draw a style outside of their comfort zone and not really knowing what to do with it. If you make the eyes that big, the eye needs to be more detailed than a flat shape. Compare it to the art for the cover image, and you'll notice that the difference is variation in the shade of color across the iris, and reflection spots as highlights, among other things.

Kelly Thompson's writing is always a bit too cutesy for me but it is just relieving to hear Gwen talking like a relatively normal person again. Say what you will about her, Kelly at least has a grasp on Gwen's voice.

The guy who said it looks like those 'How to Draw Manga' 2000's books isn't at all far off but that kind of gives it a charm all its own. Especially considering Gwen probably had such books in her youth it almost feels fitting, I wouldn't mind seeing more of this artist draw Gwen interiors for a longer story.
