A few months have passed since Bonding Day, where the hardworking young kangas of Themyscira competed to be paired with their future Amazon partners, including Princess Diana—the only teenager living on the island. And it is time for the newest recruits to leap into the next steps of their training. Exploring in an isolated part of the woods on Themyscira, best friends Jumpa, Big Red, Goldie, Rooth, and Skippa discover an ancient, overgrown doorway in the side of a hill—and Skippa can’t wait to hop through and check it out. But when she doesn’t come back out, the others follow…only to find themselves trapped in the middle of the ancient Greek Labyrinth! Who knows who, or what, else might be contained in this ancient prison? Can our ganga kangas stop blaming Skippa—and each other—long enough to find a way out? Or will they be hopping around the Labyrinth’s twisting pathways forever? Unfortunately, the greatest threat may come from the most unexpected source of all.

>Taking into account the winner becomes a "god" after the event,

Its Aquaman

This has been building in his series since it launched. There's a reason Snyder didn't have Absolute Aquaman mapped out.

They have been building a connection with Aquaman and Darkseid since this new volume started
>>
>>150980444 #
Taking into account the winner becomes a "god" after the event, I think there are only two possible choices to win the event.

The first one is Luthor. With the Man of Tomorrow movie coming out, it would make sense to go for a status quo where Lex becomes the new "God" of the DCU (although it would be a bit similar to what Marvel is doing with Doom).

The other one is Cyborg. Only character in the remaining 8 with a connection to Darkseid. Scott Snyder and Williamson talked about DC having big plans for the Titans for the event. And isn't it a bit suspicious Vic is the only Titan in the event? When Dick or Wally or Raven or Kory or even Gar would have probably been more popular picks?

Superman, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Guy Gardner or Aquaman winning would just be too disruptive for their respective series. While Joker is the obvious "bad guy" of the event
>>
>>150981869
>Aquaman winning would just be too disruptive for their respective series

>>
>>150981869
Zatanna is getting a relaunch but it hasn't been solicited yet so it's likely going to come out after this event is done
They could easily make her new book about the fall out of her winning

I don't think she's going to win. But your argument doesn't really apply to her
>>
>>150980369
>joker again
Can Red Hood kill this guy already and piss on his corpse
>>
>>150981862
>>150981880
Well, sorry for deleting my original comment, but I did read it. I stand by what I say though. Aquaman has already gotten a power boost from Darkseid. It wouldn't make sense to give him another.

Also Absolute Aquaman isn't a thing mainly because nobody pitched it. Scott Snyder mentioned that after the Big Five, they asked each creative what they would do and Pichetshote pitched Green Arrow while Camp pitched Martian Manhunter (and Grayson Catwoman).
>>
>>150981916
>Zatanna is getting a relaunch but it hasn't been solicited yet so it's likely going to come out after this event is done
It's just gonna be a follow-up to last year's Campbell mini.

It's going to be Superman versus Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman will win but there will be a catch. All set up in the opening of the first issue.
>>150982181
Bolland's pencilling is good. His idea of good color is terrible.
>>

I wish the Wonder Woman we have now died and she was replaced with Absolute Diana, and tom King and his mother were fired from Warner and DC during the sellout
>>
>>150980664
Having the dude writing the current Wonder Woman comic that is divisive at best also take up one of the slots on a Wonder Woman special seems actively malicious toward her fans
>>

Holy shit Kyle actually doing things?

>>
>>150983246
Not even close. The covers and the solicits.are generic and uninspired but the Cirque du Sin is creepy and meta in a way Nightwing very rarely gets to be. It's the first time since the Seeley run that I'm actually excited by the mystery behind the villain.
>>
>>150983488
Snyder already said that Death Metal was Wonder Woman's event (and Metal was Batman's)

He designed KO to be a Superman-centric event
>>
>>150980444
why do they feel the need to spoil what's going to happen? they already did it with the second round, showing a bunch of the "surviving characters", and now they feel like showing who the top 8 are? it's genuinely so retarded. unless these are all fakeouts for more twists like Batman dying in the first chapter and being replaced with Joker. still, i'd rather we just get nothing at all instead of fake spoilers for the sake of "shocking" the audience by leading them on to thinking they know who's going to win

Blasphemy. Any colorist that overwhelms the pencils is not a good colorist, add in the fact that he thinks his opinion on what the story should be and he's a hack.
>>
>The Last Halloween is over
>Batman and Robin: Year One is over
There's a deficit of Dick in January's solicitations, DC. Fix your shit.
>>
>>150981708
maybe it'll have something to do with love or whatever. Star Sapphire, obviously, the representative for love, while Joker abused Harley and had 0 care for her. maybe the "game" involves love and Joker's advantage is he doesn't have any while Carol loves too much or some stupid bullshit
>>
>>150981482
So the Final Four is Superman, Lex, Wonder Woman, and Joker?
Zatanna should win, but they won't miss an opportunity to shill the Joker. Cyborg would be more interesting in the semi-finals, but they'll knock the last black guy out before they knock the last woman out.
>>
>>150984200
We will know next month anyway due to how solicits work.
The only mystery at the end of this will be who the final winner is
>>
>>150984240
I'm more interested in how the fallout is going to go. Because this isn't a reboot event but it's dancing close....
>>
>>150983246
Nah Taylor stopped writing months ago. That was inarguably the most milquetoast run in dick’s history.
>>
>>150982283
>emperor joker 2.0 line wide crossover for nostalgia bait.
Especially with loeb’s work mostly wrapped up I can see this

>That’ll lead to a joker vs darkseid event of course and then the joker of Zurr en argh will fight the darkseid who laughs.
Good god the worst part is I can imagine this too.
>>
>>150984240
>The only mystery at the end of this will be who the final winner is
It's Lex and DC is basically doing their own version One World Under Doom or it's Cyborg and it sets up a new Titans status quo (a title which Snyder said he was discussing with the editors the new direction for). Any other choice isn't very realistic.
>>
>>150984264

Why won't they just admit this direction for Jon was a mistake? they already retconned everything else about Benidis' run.
>>

Hey, Flatline at least ensures Damien won't fag out like Jon or Tim
