I dont know why but anything about spirits ascending into the afterlife makes me weep when its portrayed as a beautiful scene typically and 9 had a really cool ending with the dead ragdolls moving on

The ending of Coco with the great-grandma made me cry.

Why is the grandma in coco still old in the afterlife when everyone else is a middle aged skeleton?
>>
>>150989679
Because she didn't die young so really living a long life fucks you over in the afterlife

Wouldnt their be more older skeletons then in the afterlife by that logic?

Also semi unrelated but that reminds me of GG allins belief in that the younger you die the more vitality you have in the afterlife

I’ll tell you my most embarrassing one.
There’s this really shitty sequel to The Year Without a Santa Claus called A Miser Brothers Christmas, it came out in 2008 and I watched the premiere on tv.
In it there’s this horrible song about how brothers shouldn’t fight and should be friends and love each other. It’s really sappy and hamfisted, genuinely one of the worst songs ever written for any animated film, but that song made me cry extremely hard because it made me realize that I had become a bully to my younger brother, and I realized I let it go too far.
From that day on, I made a conscious effort to be nicer to him and to treat him more respectfully, and now he’s genuinely my best friend and the most important person to me. I don’t think anyone who wrote the songs in that special actually gave a shit, but that movie changed my life for the better.

There is. Her husband is older looking.

Im glad you treat your brother better even if the inspiration for it was a piece of shit

The opening to Rio and the song that accompanies it Real in Rio makes me feel emotionally vulnerable yet always uplifts my mood since rewatched the film for first time in 14 years.

Grandma?

Chicheron was the real gutpunch.

don't remember crying at an animated movie. I do remember the Ed edd and eddy episode where they're old freaking me out. I just misinterpreted it as Ed losing years of his life and being old when he woke up.

The credits cinematic of Wall-E made me cry, idk why its a pretty happy ending. Tears of KINO! ! !

That's only so sad because you don't know if he's gone gone like completely non-existence or passed on to heaven. I mean turning into golden light doesn't seem apt if he's wiped from existence.
