I just marathoned the first episode. what did I think?

How do you marathon a single episode?

I pressed play and I didn't stop watching until the episode was over. Not even for a bathroom break.

An episode that bad feels like a marathon, alright.

Actually the pilot of the revival is one of the best from season 1.
Season 1 (or 2, if you count this as a direct continuation and not a new show) is mostly terrible.
The writers were directed by the creators, who have grown soft with age, to make the audience actually care about the plot and characters. Which destroyed the show from the get-go.

So season 1 is this awfully juvenile show which has this someone played straight badly written teen romance drama interspliced with bad, overly cartoony comedy.
Season 2 gets the balance better and is actually pretty decent, but it was too little too late.

I think I dropped this mid way trough. is not bad but boring, the lack of Gandhi is so evident since he carried the humour of the show and the drama feels less genuine since it's been so long.

I did not hate or anything, but is this weird mix between an proper reboot and a continuation, experimental to be sure but not that effective. I like a few of the new characters but I don't like most of their designs, specially how much some of them clash with the old cast and 2000's aesthetic. I wanted a proper continuation, the half reboots gave me mixed feelings. End up dropping for not caring that much about it overall, never been a big fan of this series to begin with, it just stood out from the rest after all was sad and done, this one fails at that.

I myself made it until that episode where they have Columbus has the keyboard warrior fight that is won by grammar nazying it. It's just not funny, which is unacceptable as a sequel to a funny show.

Columbus was my favourite part of the show, but the other supporting cast is a bit on the annoying side. I think I dropped on the queen bee episode for simple not caring. Really hard to give a fuck and really was unfunny. I remember they tried to make it up with how unfunny it was by being oddly violent and edgy, but the original show was not, just drenched in satire and absurdism for the jokes.

It's one of the worst things I have ever watched.

I going on good faith you're being glib, but it is tragic that so many people think watching a single episode without looking at their phone or getting distracted is a marathon.

The parody of "very special episodes" with Ponce and anti-drug messaging with the thing about driving while sleepy were quite clever.
