well atleast over the garden wall was just as good as i remembered it.
Finally finished the original Addams Family series, including that one Halloween special. The second season was more of the same, outside of confirming how the characters are related, and introducing Morticia's family. >>151016291I want to say zombies, especially if they're more Resident Evil or Dead Space types instead of slow moving Walking Dead types. Where they can get huge and regenerate. Return of the Living Dead zombies are also scary since you genuinely can't kill them because all their nerves move on their own, so if one gets cut in half, now you have two zombies to deal with. Plus they're really smart and can talk and use phones and stuff.With vampires, it depends on what they're like and how powerful they are. If it's some super powerful being like some versions of Dracula where he can conjure storms and mind control people, then that's scary but in the way a tornado is. Can't really stop it since it's too powerful, just move out of the way and hope it doesn't chase you. If it's From Dusk til Dawn vampires where they're basically just zombies but drink blood, that's easier to deal with.

I’m in Los Angeles, last night we walked around Burbank to see all the houses decked out for Halloween (they go all out). People dress up for that. There are scary movie screenings at a few cemeteries. There are themed escape rooms. I got an invite to the Magic Castle one year and saw several magicians perform. My sister is seeing some spooky performance at the concert hall and there are several scare mazes like the Haunted Hayride, Fright Fest etc where you go through themed rooms and get spooked. It’s my favorite holiday because there’s so much to do even as an adult and it doesn’t need to be an expensive holiday.

Isn't US Thanksgiving a shameful holiday in its own right? Based on the fact land was stolen from Natives and they were killed? It's a bullshit holiday.
