I have a meta idea.So there's the code in GG, based on the CCA, they get to sunset characters who no longer adhere to vague moral standards. It gets beaten and shattered during Bullion.But in real life, throughout the 60s to the 80s (more or less) when a character wasn't popular with readers (or they just wanted a sales boost) they would sometimes get killed off, which would be an order given from editorial. It happened to Doom Patrol, Jason Todd, and MJ to name a few off to the top of my head. Getting brought back later is irrelevant for what I'm getting at though.So here's the beginnings of an idea. A character who isn't popular with readers gets their death warrant signed by editorial. However, the character IS well liked by their fellow characters who find some way to fight back.How would characters in a story fight back against an editorial force?

They were really asking people to pay money for a chance to work for them.Oh i just looked it up, it was Nickelodeon's Writing Program, i must have confused it for a contest, either way the entree fee is a script and around $200-$300.I remember when me and my parents were going over the website and we got to the point where Nickelodeon gave advice as to what stories and characters they want for a cartoon. They said they're looking for characters who are buddies, who are childlike, who relates to the kids, they wanted their main characters to either be kids or adults who act like kids, they kept using SpongeBob and Patrick as an example to the point my dad loudly exclaimed "Woah! They keep talking about SpongeBob and Patrick! Just say you want another SpongeBob and Patrick!" something along those lines, but reading just what Nickelodoen wanted was such a shocking moment for my parents as they found out that Nickelodeon are just telling up and coming aspiring writers to just give them more of what they already have.I found the official website so you can read more about it here: https://www.nickanimation.com/programs/writing-program/I might make a thread about it and just how awful it is, both how Nickelodeon views creativity and the hoops they want people to jump through just to work with them.
